4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

To develop the theoretical contents of the subject, the participative master class will be used. Specifically, during the classes, stimulus questions will be asked to involve the students in the classes and they will be asked to provide examples of the aspects that are being explained at any given time.

The master classes will be made more dynamic with commentaries on videos used in class and cases and readings given to the students.

In order to check the degree of assimilation of the theoretical concepts explained in the master class, practical cases will be proposed which the students will have to hand in in writing.

The master class will also be combined with problem-solving sessions to apply the analytical procedures that have been explained to specific numerical exercises.

A strategy game will also be used to teach students how to make decisions related to the field of operations management.

Finally, a final exam will be held to assess the overall understanding of the subject.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
