Acqusition or written and oral skills apropriate for the academicn and professional development of the students of Archaeology.
The contents of this subject are based on three thematic
blocks that, in turn, correspond to three essential activities
in the academic and professional field of the students and
which are the following: reading of texts related to this field,
note taking and essay and report writing. Likewise, the subject will aling with the main tenets of the European Framework of Reference
and, including autonomous learning
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
The kind of assessment implemented will involve attendance and active participation (10% + 10%), individual and/or group work (30%) and 50% for a set of oral and written tasks and activities announced in class.
Fraudulent use of AI devices or plagiarism will automatically involve failing this subject; additionally, the University may implement other additional measures.

Necessary measures for the acqusition of SDO will be implemented.
Classroom attendance will be combined alternating weekly with asynchronous virtual teaching in the week when there is no classroom attendance, and the virtual platform is the way to facilitate access to the didactic and bibliographic materials of the subject on a weekly basis. The face-to-face time will be devoted to the introduction of the linguistic and conceptual contents with student interaction, the correction of the weekly assigned activities and the resolution of doubts, while the asynchronous virtual teaching will focus on the completion of the weekly activities associated with each topic of the programme by the students. The information is detailed below:

*If the number of students is less than the limited capacity in the classroom, both the theoretical and practical sessions will have a 100% face-to-face format that alternates weekly with 100% non-face-to-face.
The assessment of the subject will be continuous and will have the same characteristics as those described in the Assessment System of Academic Guide. The activities and work described in the Guide will be carried out throughout the academic year and the date of delivery of the written activities will be indicated in each case, which will be done by email. In both the multimodal and non-classroom scenarios, all didactic and bibliographic material will be made available through the virtual platform each week.
Weekly synchronous virtual teaching will be combined and alternated through Meet - focused on the correction of the activities associated with each topic of the programme - with the asynchronous format dedicated to the completion by the students of the activities assigned weekly through the Ilias platform. The evaluation will be continuous in the ordinary call 2 and the evaluation of the subject in the extraordinary call 2 will have the same characteristics described in the Evaluation System, with the exception that the 6 activities will be 70% as the attendance and/or regular connection to the subject (10%) and the active participation of the student (10%) are not contemplated. Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.
Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.
Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.
Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.
Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
