4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • Exhibition classes in large group: Master classes, introductory activities, conferences, exhibitions, visualization of theoretical content...
  • Classes in practice groups: Guided classes of practical activities, solving exercises, tasks and cases, visualization of practical contents, preparation works of practical content, exhibitions and debates, reading and handling of complementary material...
  • Group and individual tutorials: Supervision of works addressed, clarification of doubts, comments on individual or collective proposals.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Class assignments (20%). Class attendance and active participation is recommended for a correct assimilation of the contents.
Knowledge mastery (40%). An exam will be held at the end of the semester. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 in this part in order to be assessed in the subject.
Practical work and case studies (40%). Various assignments and case studies will be carried out and must be handed in on the established dates. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 in this part in order to be assessed in the course.
In the extraordinary exam, it will be necessary, in the same way, to pass the exam, which may be taken by telematic means, and to prepare and hand in all the assignments requested in the ordinary exam. These assignments will be handed in via virtual teaching, telematic means proposed by the university or email at the latest on the day established in the extraordinary exam session for the assessment. In the case of students who have not followed the course through continuous assessment, the preparation of these assignments may have a different orientation and be carried out individually.

The assessment systems will be the same in any of the scenarios that we may encounter. The percentages assigned to each assessment criterion and instrument will be the same in any of the scenarios we may encounter.

3.4. By 2030, reduce premature mortality from
non-communicable diseases by one third through prevention and
treatment and promote mental health and well-being.

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

* Lecture classes in large groups: Master classes, introductory activities, lectures, presentations, visualisation of theoretical content, etc.

* Classes in practical groups: Directed classes of practical activities, resolution of exercises, tasks and cases, visualisation of practical content, elaboration of practical content work, presentations and debates, reading and handling of complementary material.

* Group and individual tutorials: Supervision of supervised work, clarification of doubts, comments on individual or group proposals.

In a multimodal scenario, large group lectures will be subject to the capacity indicated for the assigned classroom and practical group classes will be subject to the capacity indicated for the sports hall (including both the space for sports practice and the stands). In this case, the student rotation will be applied, providing students who do not have a one-week on-site class due to rotation with the information, documentation and material necessary for the appropriate follow-up of that class in a non-on-site manner. The visualisation of theoretical or practical content and the reading and handling of complementary material will be the resources used for this non-face-to-face monitoring. The tutorials may be face-to-face, respecting the limitations established by the competent authority, or via email and google meet in the event that these measures cannot be respected.

9. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

In a non-classroom setting, the lectures in large groups will be given online by videoconference and with the contribution of material corresponding to the contents worked on in each session and subject. The classes in practical groups will also be taught virtually, in this case, in addition to the provision of documentation and material relating to the content to be worked on in each session, it will also be possible to use the visualisation of images and explanatory videos in which these contents are developed in a practical way. The presentations and defences of the work prepared by the students will also be presented virtually at the established times. Tutorials in this case will be done by email and google meet.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
