The methodology and activities of the course are oriented to the achievement of the learning outcomes linked to the competences of the course and of the corresponding learning module: TRA MED2, TRA MED5, TRA MED6, TRA MED1, TRA MED3, TRA MED4, TRA MED7). The course is structured around large group activities, theory and practical activities in small groups (one hour per week) and through both activities the students will achieve the expected learning outcomes. The methodology of the course includes:

Classroom classes: The first four topics, will be taught by the faculty of the Social Work area, giving the perspectives of this discipline to the theory and practical intervention of mediation.

The fifth to eighth topics will be taught under the perspective of the Social Psychology area, providing the psychological perspective as a source of knowledge and practice in conflict resolution situations through the theoretical and practical contribution.

The students will have half of the practices of Social Work and the other half will correspond to Social Psychology.
The supervision tutorials can only be done in smaller groups of 7 or more, in order to have a supervision session in the Social Work subject and/or the Psychology subject.

The practices will include the realization of assumptions and work in the classroom to complete outside it, as well as a work of Project Based Learning, using portfolios and learning diary among other possible instruments.

For the follow-up and development of the course, the enrolled students must attend the classes at the established time and register, in due time and form, in the virtual teaching platform from where all the basic information related to the course will be provided: presentations of the expositions, self-evaluation questions, constitution of the practical groups and work teams, proposals and delivery of works, etc. It is the student's responsibility to access this training platform to monitor the course. Students will also be responsible for keeping their profile data updated as a person enrolled in the course, both in the virtual campus and in the training platform.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The grading system will be governed by the provisions of RD 1125/2003 of September 5, 2003, which establishes the European credit system and the grading system for official university degrees.
The purpose of the evaluation system is to verify that the enrolled students have acquired the learning results foreseen in the course. Thus, the academic performance will be evaluated through a continuous evaluation system that includes on the one hand a final objective test of questions (TRA MED2, TRA MED5, TRA MED6) and on the other hand the realization of activities and periodic practical work (TRA MED1, TRA MED3, TRA MED4, TRA MED7).
Students will be evaluated on the basis of three different items throughout the course. These tests are intended to respond to the adequacy of the skills they are expected to acquire in order to achieve the indicated competences. Thus the tests will be:
Essay tests, objective or semi-objective tests, problem solving, short answer tests, reports and class diaries, etc. where they will pose the knowledge learned and will make the documents required of them. It will score 60% of the total grade.
Attendance and passing of the practical sessions in which the student's contributions will be valued. Oral presentations in class: individual or group, on the contents of the syllabus (seminar) and completion of activities and practical work required, that all students must submit individually through the digital platform in due time and form, corresponding to specific competencies. It will score 30% of the total grade.
Attendance to the theoretical and practical learning sessions and student contributions through techniques based on active participation. It will score 10% of the total grade.

For the evaluation of the extraordinary call II (June-July) none of the grades obtained in the ordinary call will be kept. Students must take the objective written tests, practical activities and activities or questions that value the item of attendance that the faculty dictates in order to be eligible for such qualifications and that will be equivalent in difficulty and to those made during the course, all in accordance with the evaluation regulations of the University of Jaén.
In no ordinary or extraordinary call will be "admitted" the grades obtained in the different parts of the subject in previous courses.
In order to pass the subject, each item must be passed, theory, practice and attendance (it is passed by obtaining the average value of the applied scale) and the final result must be higher or equal to 5. That is, the subject will be passed as long as at least five points are obtained in the theory, five in the practices and five in the attendance. Likewise, each section and/or each activity that are part of these, must be passed with at least 5 points each.
The evaluation of the practical activities and papers may not be the result of copying or plagiarism, for which they will be subjected to an analysis through the anti-plagiarism resources available to the University of Jaén. Any suspicion or evidence of plagiarism will imply the suspension of the activity or work.

Likewise, in the evaluation of the subject, any suspicion that the student is not complying with the rules of examination, as well as using any method that exceeds the allowed in the instructions administered in the evaluation, will result in expulsion from the classroom and the corresponding grade of Fail.
