4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

DETAILED INFORMATION:

For the expository classes in large groups, master classes will be used for the most generic concepts, while for the most applied concepts the theory will be presented together with real examples related to the grades to which the class is being taught.
A conference on Circular Economy will be given to promote the SDGs by contributing directly to SDGs 6,7, 14 and 17
A new section is included in the agenda on Circular Economy (2.5) to promote the SDGs by contributing directly to SDGs 6.7, 14 and 17
There will be a master class in English.
For the practical group classes, different methodologies will be applied:
A seminar will be given with a speaker from outside the University.
There will be 4 computer practices on:
a) Cost analysis

b) Linear programming.

c) Evaluation and selection of investments

d) Quality control.

The qualification system will be governed by the provisions of RD 1125/2003 of September 5, which establishes the European credit system and the qualification system in official university degrees.

The first criterion is intended to cover the CBB6 competition and the results 22, 23, 24, 26 and 28.

The second criterion is intended to cover the CBB6 competition and the results 24, 25, 26 and 27.

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

Methodology

The classes, both expository and in group practices, will be taught in face-to-face rotational mode with two 50% subgroups, for which the class list will be divided into two with the same number of students arranged in alphabetical order. The face-to-face will be in alternate weeks for each group, making a live broadcast for the subgroup that does not have to attend.

Evaluation system

Although the same evaluation instruments were used as in the face-to-face modality, the weights given to the different instruments are modified. Said instruments will be:

The exam will have a weight of 50%. The exam will be done online. Students must connect to the google meet platform on the scheduled day and time and have the video activated during the exam.
Carrying out work, cases, exercises that will have a joint weight of 25%.
Realization of computer science practices that will have a joint weight of 25%.

In this scenario, the number of contact hours is reduced by 50% compared to the normal situation.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

Methodology

In this case, all the teaching will be given by videoconference synchronously through the google meet tool.

Evaluation system

Although the same evaluation instruments were used as in the face-to-face modality, the weights given to the different instruments are modified. These weights coincide with those of the multimodal or mixed scenario:

The exam will have a weight of 50%. The exam will be done online. Students must connect to the google meet platform on the scheduled day and time and have the video activated during the exam.
Carrying out work, cases, exercises will have a joint weight of 25%.
Realization of computer science practices that will have a joint weight of 25%.

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE (on line exams)

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
