4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Training activities are classified into two main teaching approaches: A1) Expository classes in large groups, which have a theoretical-practical nature and promote knowledge transfer to students, as well as synchronous and asynchronous learning. A2) Activities on a virtual platform, which complement the training acquired in the expository classes. Training videos are included for each subject to facilitate flipped classroom teaching. The virtual platform also includes activities that promote project-based learning or practical cases. Additionally, the following synchronous training activities will be carried out as supervision and guidance for students 1)Online tutoring sessions, 2) Online discussion forums and collaborative activities.

Additionally, each teaching unit includes a flipped classroom session: The faculty will create a video for each class session (12-15 minutes) that will be uploaded to Platea at least 48 hours before the class. This video will remain on Platea throughout the academic year.

The video will include three basic sections:

a) A summary of the theoretical-practical content that will be covered in that module, as well as the basic and supplementary materials available on the virtual platform (asynchronous).

b) A summary of the planned in-person or synchronous training activities (online group tutorials, forums, optional in-person sessions, etc.).

c) A summary of the planned evaluation systems (attendance control, assignment submissions, presentations, exams, etc.).
