The grades will be based on four activities:

-Attendance and participation (30%)

Classes will be practical and the attendance is compulsory.

According to the academic regulation of the University of Jaén, the students will have to attend to a minimum of 80% of the sessions of the course to pass the course. If that requirement is not fulfilled, the student will not be evaluated in the ordinary nor in the extraordinary call.

Attendance and participation in class will be considered. However, the attendance grade will never exceed the 50% of the total grade of the course.

Individual exam (30%)

In the last session of the course, the students will solve an individual exam about the theoretical and practical contents of the course. A minimum mark of 10% out of the 30% of the exam will be required to pass the course.

Valuation essay (30%)

During the classes, the teachers will present other activities that will represent the 10% of the final mark.

The course will be passed if all these conditions are met:

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

  1. Teaching methodology and training activities

In the case of a multimodal or mixed scenario, if the number of students enrolled in the course does not exceed the capacity available in the designated teaching spaces according to the determined distancing measures, the teaching methodology and training activities will be the same as those applicable in the face-to-face scenario.

If the number of students exceeds the capacity, classes will be taught in person to small groups of students that do not exceed the capacity. Weekly, the group with the right to attend in-person classes will rotate. For the rest of the students, the class will be broadcasted via video conference if the necessary means are available.

The number of students per group will be determined by the MBA Administration based on both the number of enrolled students and the capacity of the designated spaces. It is estimated that this percentage may vary between 25% and 50% of the enrolled students.

  1. Evaluation system

The evaluation system will be the same as in the case of face-to-face teaching, with the following modifications:

Attendance will be checked both in person and remotely.

The final evaluation exam will preferably be conducted in person, respecting health distancing measures and capacity limitations. If it is not possible to conduct the exam in person, it will be carried out remotely, and students may be required to record a video of the exam to certify its authorship.

  1. Resources

The following resources will be necessary for the implementation of the aforementioned teaching and evaluation activities:

a) Audiovisual transmission system for theoretical and practical classes.

b) Students will need to have the necessary computer and telecommunications equipment to be able to view the broadcasted classes.

c) Communication between faculty and students will be carried out using the systems employed at the University of Jaén, particularly the virtual teaching platform of the University and the Google suite.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

  1. Teaching methodology and training activities

In the case of a non-face-to-face scenario, classes will be taught remotely, either synchronously or asynchronously.

  1. Evaluation system

The evaluation system will be the same as in the case of face-to-face teaching, with the following modifications:

a) The viewing of remote classes will be verified through assessment tests of their content.

b) Group work will be replaced by a set of online evaluative tests, both theoretical and practical.

c) The final exam will be conducted remotely, and students may be required to record a video of the exam to certify its authorship.
