3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Prevention of Dependency from the health perspective.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Training activity: Theoretical lectures to the general group

Presentation by the teaching staff of the contents of the course, promoting discussion and active participation of the students, leading them to raise and answer questions to end each presentation with a summary-conclusion of the fundamental points.

Presentation by the teacher of the question/problem to be analysed. Students will proceed to search for relevant information in different sources and carry out an analysis and evaluation of the results.

Competencies and learning outcomes: CF1, CF2, CF5, E13, E40, R1, R2 and R6.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

I. Development of a basic research protocol on nursing care in dependency. Value up to 40 points or up to 40% of the final score. Competences and learning outcomes: E13 and R6.

II. Presentation of accreditation of competences through LRD. Through ICT. Up to 25 points or 25% of the final score. Competences and learning outcomes: CF2, E40 and R2.

III. Presentation and accreditation of competences in bibliographic reference management. Up to 15 points or 15% of the final score. Competences and learning outcomes: E13 and R6.

IV. Lessons attendance and participation: up to 20 points or up to 20% of the final score. Competences and learning outcomes: CF1, CF5 and R1.

Attendance at 80% of the classes is compulsory. If less than 17% of the lessons are attended, it will be necessary to take an exam in order to pass the course and the exam mark will correspond to the evaluation: IV. Class attendance and participation: up to 20 points or up to 20% of the final score.

A67 - Theorical lessons

Presential attendance 50% (*)

Development of 6 practical sessions, four hours long each, in a large group classroom as a round table with a minimum safety distance by applying the 50% rotation in small groups. Retransmission of practical classes to the rest of the group. They will alternate in attendance and non-attendance, according to odd or even ID.

(**) The Center may establish rotating attendance depending on the number of students and capacity of the classroom/laboratory in accordance with health measures (class in the timetable and classroom assigned to part of the group and retransmission by videoconference to the rest, with periodic rotation of students, as determined by the Center).

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
