7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

In a Multimodal or Mixed Scenario of the teaching of this subject, the presence of the classes will be conditioned to the capacity of the classroom or assigned teaching space in which the regular teaching of the subject is given. The number of students in class will be reduced, if necessary, by between 20% and 50% of the student body.

With regard to large group theory classes, in the event that it is not possible to guarantee face-to-face teaching by means of rotations for all students, the face-to-face theory class may be followed by streaming via synchronous videoconferencing. Likewise, the necessary material will be provided for the proper monitoring of the class in a non-face-to-face manner, which will be available for consultation in virtual teaching (Platea, Google Drive, among other official educational resources for regulated teaching at the University of Jaén); and a virtual adaptation of the teaching methodology will be integrated to continue allowing the active participation of students connected in streaming: oral interventions in synchronous videoconference, use of chats or forums, among others that can be contemplated for the implementation of the virtual adaptation of the teaching.

With regard to the practical classes in small groups, in the event that it is not possible to guarantee the delivery of face-to-face teaching by means of rotations for all students, once again, there will be streaming monitoring of the face-to-face class, and a virtual adaptation of the teaching methodology will be integrated, according to: work, cases or digital exercises, digital delivery of the exercises, presentation/exhibition or oral defence by videoconference using the screen sharing option, etc.., all of this using the teaching web platforms and official educational resources for regulated teaching at the University of Jaén.

The tutorials may continue in face-to-face mode, respecting the limitations established by the competent authority, or in virtual mode via email or videoconference by Google Meet.

The evaluation system will be the same in any of the multimodal or mixed scenarios, as well as the percentages assigned to each criterion and evaluation instrument. All the assessment instruments included in the subject's assessment system can be adapted, indistinctly, to face-to-face and/or digital instruments, without the need to vary the assessment criteria: face-to-face attendance control (signature sheet) or synchronous connection of classes (Google Meet connection report); written tests or quizzes (Platea tool and Google Form tool), interviews (face-to-face tutorial or synchronous videoconference), presentations or exhibitions (oral presentation in face-to-face class, synchronous videoconference, asynchronous audiovisual recording), among others.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

In a non face-to-face scenario, classes will be taught online by videoconference and with the contribution of material corresponding to the contents worked on in each session.

The assessment systems in a non face-to-face scenario will be the same as in the previous scenarios, as well as the percentages assigned to each criterion, using various instruments and digital tools for assessment (Google Meet connection log, completion and submission of assignments, cases and digital exercises, participation in chats or forums, virtual teaching, etc.).

In this way, they would be as follows:

ORDINARY CALL

S1 - Attendance and Participation (20%). Instruments: teacher's observations and notes, record of synchronous Google Meet connection and/or record of participation in chats or forums.

S2 - Theoretical concepts of the subject (40%). Criteria: Mastery of the theoretical knowledge of the subject and critical use in the conceptual handling of the contents. Instruments: elaboration of a presentation/exposition and oral defence by telematic means: synchronous videoconference using Google Meet and/or audiovisual recording and delivery in virtual teaching (Platea or Google Drive).

S3 - Completion of assignments, cases or exercises (40%). Criteria: Mastery of the operational concepts of the subject. Instruments: completion of assignments, cases or exercises digitally.

EXTRAORDINARY EXAM SESSION

For students who followed the continuous assessment but did not pass any of the parts, they may present them according to the instructions established in the subject. For students who did NOT follow the continuous assessment and have not passed the course, they will take a final written test with a value of 100% of the course. The test in which they will provide the practical and theoretical contents will be carried out telematically and will be established according to the number of students by the teaching staff of the subject.
