4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The details of this subject will be developed through lectures of a magisterial nature, along with group dynamics that favor the learning of explained content.

Likewise, practical sessions will be held to experience the contents and generate strategies for the professional future (mandatory).

In turn, it will be reinforced with individual and collective tutorials to direct the student towards autonomous, innovative and creative work.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

There are two assesssment options, A and B:

S1 Active participation in class individually or in groups through the observation and evaluation of class work. It will have a value of 20% of the final grade in option A and 35% in option B.

S2 Mastery of the subject, which will be carried out through partial/knowledge exams. It will have a value of 50% of the final grade in option A and 35% in option B. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 in both options, in order to be evaluated in the subject.

S3 Mastery of the operational concepts of the subject through theoretical-practical group work (compulsory in a group according to the requirements set by the teaching staff). It will have a value of 30% of the final grade in both options. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 to be able to be evaluated in the subject.

From the ordinary call to the extraordinary call, the percentages can be saved (in blocks S1, S2, S3), but when the extraordinary call ends, the subject starts again from scratch.

At least 80% of attendance at practical sessions throughout the semester will be mandatory.

MAIN BOOKLIST:
  • Descubre cómo es la Educación Física del s. XXI. Edition: -. Author: Domingo Blázquez Sánchez. Publisher: INDE  (Library)
7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

The expository classes in large groups will be taught in person when the number of students does not exceed the limited capacity of the classroom (taking into account the minimum social distance determined by the health authority). In the event that the enrolled student body exceeds the permitted capacity, student rotation will be applied, providing students who do not have a face-to-face class due to rotation, the necessary information for the proper monitoring of the class in a non-face-to-face manner. On the other hand, if the class cannot be held in person, these classes will be taught online synchronously (GoogleMeet) and/or asynchronously (Virtual Teaching). In any case, the material corresponding to each topic will be accessible online (Virtual Teaching).

Classes in practice groups will be carried out in face-to-face and/or non-face-to-face format. For the face-to-face format, in the event that the number of students exceeds the permitted capacity, students will be rotated to allow them to carry out part of the teaching in person, provided that the center does not determine that the subject is impossible to respect the social distance, in which case it will be done online (for example, through the viewing of videos).

The tutorials will be carried out in an online format synchronously at the scheduled time (GoogleMeet or telephone) and asynchronously (Email).

Finally, regarding the evaluation, the same evaluation systems and percentages will be maintained as in the face-to-face modality. In addition, in the event that attendance is possible, they will be evaluated in the ordinary way. However, if face-to-face assistance is not possible, the following adaptations will be made. The expository classes in large groups will be followed by attendance at the synchronous classes and/or visualization of the asynchronous ones, as well as the elaboration of online tasks related to the asynchronous ones.

For the group classes of practical classes, it will be replaced by the visualization of the online videos and tasks

related. The evaluation of concepts of the subject will be carried out online or by submitting a work that replaces it. The evaluation of case resolution will be carried out by preparing the simulation of cases through video.

The timing does not present changes with respect to the face-to-face modality.

Regarding the resources and infrastructures, the physical and virtual spaces of the University of Jaén (for example, Virtual Teaching) and its own virtual spaces (for example, computer, mobile and internet) will be used.
