4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course will consist of two parts:

- A theoretical part, which will combine the presentation of contents as an introductory strategy of the subjects with autonomous work and tutoring so that the teacher has a broad knowledge of the students. This part will be passed by means of a test or exam.

- A practical part in which students will design campaigns, materials and resources to deal with diversity. This practical part will be carried out in groups. Attendance to the practical part is compulsory.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The evaluation of students will take into account the use of classes, both theoretical and practical, individual and group work, as well as the acquisition of the theoretical and practical content of the subject. In order to pass the course, it is essential to pass both parts (theoretical and practical credits) independently.

In the event of failing one of the parts, students will only sit the part they have not passed in the ordinary exam session in the extraordinary exam session.

Attendance to the practical classes is compulsory. Students must attend at least 80% of the classes. If they do not meet this requirement, they will not be able to pass the practical classes and must sit the practical part of the subject in the extraordinary exam.

The grading system will be governed by the provisions of Royal Decree 1125/2003 of 5 September, which establishes the European credit system and the grading system for official university degrees.
