Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

-Theoretical concepts of the subject (70%): This will be assessed by means of an oral or written examination on -site of the theoretical-practical contents (depending on the circumstances, which will be assessed and determined by the teacher coordinating the subject, depending on whether the test is general, incidental or other cases). The written test may be a multiple-choice exam and/or short or open questions. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 in the exam, in order to take the average with the rest of the evaluation criteria.

-Laboratory practicals (20%): These will be evaluated according to the teachers' observation of individual and collective participation, group work and simulations, as well as the practical demonstrations carried out by the student. The practicals must be carried out in person, and cannot be validated by any other format (virtual) or by any other task or work. Therefore, attendance in person at all internships is compulsory in order to guarantee the acquisition of competences by the student. A grade of 5 out of 10 must be obtained in each of the practicals individually,  in order to take the average with the rest of the evaluation criteria.

-Completion of proposed work or exercises (10%): The Medication Index will be assessed (this consists of an index notebook in which the students must compile the medicines studied in the course (active ingredient+indication). The evaluation of the index will consist of identifying in the index the 5 medicines previously chosen by the teacher.

The assessment system will be the same for ordinary and extraordinary exams.

"Undergraduate and Master's curricular placements, which are developed within the facilities of the University of Jaén, will be adapted as far as possible to the non-classroom format, seeking the acquisition of competences and learning outcomes similar to those foreseen in the classroom format.
To this end, the following will be considered:
* In cases where the practicals carried out up to the date of confinement have enabled a reasonable volume of learning outcomes to be achieved that guarantee sufficient acquisition of competences (minimum of 50% of the programmed practicals), these will be considered as completed, being supplemented with alternative training methodologies (projects, reports, training programmes, etc.).
* Practical classes will be adapted to the non-classroom format, taking advantage of the experience accumulated in the current term.
* Exceptionally, if some specific competences of the subject cannot be fully acquired in this academic year and have continuity in subjects of subsequent years, a specific reinforcement plan may be developed for the next academic year, which will be included in the teaching guides of the subjects affected".
