3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

This subjects concerns to psychological and social aspects of nursing cares. Contents are divided into 3 blocks: Health Psychology, general Social Psychology and Social Psychology applied to Health.

 We will study about human behaviour conceptual models, social cognition (social perception and causal attribution), interpersonal relationship, communication, social influence, attitudes, group dynamics, stress and its influence on health and cronic illness. 

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Exercises required per week and exam paper (possibility of doing it by block).

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The exam will have 30 test questions with 4 options. The wrong answer will substract 0.11 and the correct ones will add 0.33 points. 

The exercises required per week or block will have as aim to deep on the discipline and acquire the capacity of apply the knowledge and theory psychosocial at the health context.

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

The multimodal or mixed scenario will be one that includes online format, combining face-to-face and non-attendance. In this scenario, the training activities will be as follows:  

  • 8 practical sessions, being able to apply the rotation of groups reduced until the 50%. Retransmission of practical classes to the rest of the group, provided that this technology is available in the classroom or, where appropriate, asynchronous content provision.
  • 30 theory sessions on the contents of the program with a degree of presentiality from 10% to 50% depending on the number of students enrolled and the capacity of the classroom according to the distance health recommendations. Retransmission of the theoretical classes to the rest of the group whenever this technology is available in the classroom or, where appropriate, asynchronous content provision.
  • Tutorials: The tutoring sessions will preferably be done online, and when it is possible to maintain the security conditions, they can be done in person. The tutoring schedule will be available on the UJA website. For online tutoring, you will need to send a request by email to the teacher, who will then send a meet link for the virtual tutorial.
  • Resources: Own resources of virtual media will be used, among others: PLATEA platform (Virtual Teaching), virtual sessions through Google Meet, electronic bibliography, YouTube and other applications that serve the teaching practice.
 Both the resources and the evaluation of this modality or mixed
scenario will be the same as for the face-to-face scenario.
  • Note: in the multimodal scenario, where appropriate, the teaching staff involved in teaching, reserves the right not to give consent for the capture, publication, retransmission or reproduction of their speech, image, voice, and academic explanations, in the exercise of their teaching functions, within the scope of the University of Jaén.

9. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

The non-face-to-face scenario will be the one that contemplates  the development of the classes entirely online. In this scenario, the training activities will be as follows:

  • 8 online practical sessions (conducted by videoconference).
  • 30 online theory sessions on the program content (conducted by videoconference).
  • Tutorials: The tutoring sessions will be done online, through the request by email to the teacher, who will then send a meet link for virtual tutoring.
  • Resources: Own resources of virtual media will be used, among others: PLATEA platform (Virtual Teaching), virtual sessions through Google Meet, electronic bibliography, YouTube and other applications that serve the teaching practice.

Both the resources and the evaluation of this non-face-to-face modality will be the same as for the face-to-face scenario.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
