4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The fundamental support resource will be the use of the Virtual Teaching platform, which is necessary for the student to get used to it. The student will find all the necessary information to successfully pass the course, recommended readings, problems and other material of interest. In the Virtual Course, different forums will be created, one of attention to questions about the subject, another one of interrelation of the students among themselves, another one of general topics, and another one of attention tutorial.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

For the evaluation of the theoretical knowledge of the subject a theoretical written examination will be carried out in the official call. The mark of the theoretical part will represent 55% of the final grade. The CC4 competency will be assessed through the written exam test. The passing of the theoretical exam will prove that the result 29 has been reached. For the evaluation of the laboratory practical knowledge the students will have to make and present a global notebook of practices in which they respond to the questions that are presented to them and where they will have to present the results obtained in the practices sessions, which will be evaluated by the teacher and correspond to 20% of the final grade. The CC4 and CT4 competences will be evaluated during the practice sessions. The overcoming of the practices will certify that the results 29 have been reached. The realization of individual works (academically directed activities) and group work will be evaluated by the teacher and will suppose 15% of the final grade. With the accomplishment of the works the competences CC4, CT1 and CT4 will be evaluated. When these works and activities are completed, result 29 will be achieved. Attendance and active participation in class will be evaluated by the teacher and will represent 10% of the final grade. The final grade is a weighted grade according to the weights established above, but, to achieve the final passing, at least a 4 out of 10 must be obtained in the theoretical knowledge test of the subject.

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

1- TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND FORMATIVE ACTIVITIES

According to the determination of the Higher Polytechnic School of Jaen for the subject of Electrical Engineering, the theoretical classes in large groups (A1) will be rotated by 50%, exchanging the attendance of students as determined by the educational center, in the classroom and assigned time. As for the classes in small group (A2 - practices), according to the guidelines of the Center will be present at 100% non-rotating in the laboratory and assigned time.

The Centre may vary the percentage of attendance depending on the number of students and the capacity of the classroom/laboratory in accordance with health measures. In case of less than 100% attendance, there will be a periodic rotation of students as determined by the Center.
