The course is divided into two related parts, theory and practice.
The theory will be taught mainly through lectures, including activity sessions, seminars, doubt solving, problems and debate, and theoretical questions or problems with which the student's participation in the course will be evaluated.
The practical part will be carried out in the computer laboratory.
During the teaching period there will be exams to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the student.
Type A1 training activities (lectures in large groups) will be face-to-face format. The classes will be given to all the students in the group at the assigned time and in the assigned classroom.
Type A2 training activities (small group lectures) will be carried face-to-face format. The classes will be given in the timetable and classroom assigned.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
In accordance with the provisions of art. 13 of the Regulations of Academic Regime and Evaluation of the students of the University of Jaén, the evaluation will be global.
In order to pass the course, it will be necessary to pass both the theoretical and practical parts.
The theoretical part will be assessed by exams of theoretical concepts and practical exercises related to the subject.
The practical part will be assessed through the delivery of the practical work carried out with the computer, the work corresponding to the seminars and presentations and a report associated with them. The evaluation of the practicals will be incremental, so that both the final defence of each project and the evolution of the student during the practicals will be evaluated.
The part corresponding to participation and continuous assessment will be determined by means of some short tests carried out during the teaching hours corresponding to theory and practice.
The part corresponding to work, cases or exercises will be assessed by means of work, cases or exercises proposed in class.
The mark obtained by the student during the teaching period, both in the practice and in the participation in class and seminars, the completion of work, cases or exercises will be maintained for the extraordinary exams of the same course.
Competences by assessment system:
S1 (Attendance and participation): CB2R, CB3R, CT6.
S2 (Theoretical concepts of the subject): CB2R, CB3R, CT6.
S3 (Completion of assignments, cases or exercises): CB2R,
CB3R, CT6.
S4 (Laboratory/computer practice): CB2R, CB3R, CT6.

1) TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES.
The activities that cannot be carried out face-to-face will be developed in blended learning format with rotating attendance as established in Annex I. Teaching guide: Adaptation of teaching to multimodal and non face-to-face scenarios, prepared by the Vice-rectorate for Coordination and Quality of Teaching at the University of Jaén. These activities will be carried out through the use of videoconferencing systems, provided that the infrastructure of the space assigned for the teaching of the subject allows it.
The Faculty may vary the percentage of attendance depending on the number of students and the capacity of the classroom/laboratory in accordance with health measures. In the event of less than 100% attendance, students will be rotated periodically as determined by the Faculty.
2) EVALUATION SYSTEM
The evaluation will be carried out by means of a face-to-face examination of the theory and practical part.
3) RESOURCES.
Videoconferencing systems available in the spaces provided for teaching will be used, as well as the University's teaching platform. Activities that cannot be carried out face-to-face will be carried out through synchronous and/or asynchronous activities carried out through the virtual teaching platform or any other online tool provided by the University.
The recording and/or dissemination by any means of face-to-face or non-face-to-face synchronous or asynchronous activities is expressly prohibited without the explicit permission of the lecturer.
1) TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES.
The methodology followed in this modality will consist of carrying out all teaching activities synchronously and/or asynchronously through the virtual teaching platform and the mechanisms that the University of Jaén allows or enables.
2) EVALUATION SYSTEM.
The evaluation system and instruments will be the same as for the face-to-face mode, replacing the face-to-face tests with similar tests developed through the use of the online teaching platform or others that the University of Jaén allows or enables, as long as the student's identity is guaranteed.
3) RESOURCES.
The activities in this modality will be carried out through synchronous and/or asynchronous activities carried out through the virtual teaching platform or any other online platform enabled by the University of Jaén.
In any case, it is expressly forbidden to record and/or broadcast by any means the face-to-face or non-face-to-face synchronous or asynchronous activities without the explicit permission of the teacher.
