Teaching sessions language will be Spanish and the learning contents will be developed by the lecturer and theoretical concepts will be illustrated with several examples.
There are also practical sessions to solve exercises related to the contents, on the one hand in a classical way, counting on a wide participation of students, and on the other through training sessions with statistical software to solve practical questions.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
The final mark is based on two tests. The first one is at a rate of 80% and consists on a written test to solve practical exercises related to the contents of the subject, it could include short questions or select-options questions to assess the comprehension level on basic concepts. The second test, at a rate of 20%, is performed to assess the acquired ability with the statistical software and the capability of the student to select the appropriated method and to give accurate conclusions, this partial mark will be saved and the student decides if he/she wants to repeat it at each call, the valid mark is the last one.
