The course is based on an active learning methodology. This means that in each and every one of the classes, both theory and practice, various activities will be carried out such as debates or participation in information research, case and problem solving, etc.

As far as possible, the use of lectures will be avoided, seeking at all times the active participation of students who will have to work continuously throughout the four-month period.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

There will be a theory exam (7 points) in which a minimum of 3.5 points will be required in order to be able to add the practical grade.

On the other hand, throughout the four-month period, practical exercises and activities will be carried out (3 points) which will be added to the mark of the theory exam in order to calculate the final grade. In this case, it will also be necessary to have a minimum of 1.5 points in order for this mark to be taken into account in the calculation of the final grade.

This evaluation system is valid for both ordinary and extraordinary exams. The practice mark will be kept for the extraordinary exams.

For students who cannot follow the classes in person, a single final assessment of both the theoretical and practical parts of the course may be carried out with the following grade weight: 7 points for the theory exam and 3 points for the practical part of the course. In this case, the minimum of 50% in each of the parts (3.5 and 1.5 points respectively) will also be maintained in order to be able to make the total sum of the grades.

The assessment criteria that will be taken into account for the evaluation of both the theoretical and practical parts will be the correct structure of the answer, the use of a correct and precise vocabulary, the spelling, the clarity of the exposition and the reasoning of the personal contributions as well as, logically, the degree of knowledge of the evaluated contents.

The written examination assesses the competences E 49.

The following competences will be assessed with the exercises and practical activities: E49, G03, G09, G10 and G19.
