3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

How to do a lesson plan:

Development of legal framework, competences, skills, components and other elements related to designing  a lesson plan.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

This subject has, as a final aim, the objective of enabling prospective teachers to design a lesson plan for Secondary Education adapted to the current Spanish Educational framework. Bearing this in mind, all the sessions will introduce theory and practice oriented to the achievement of this objective, with lectures, semminars, workshops, and small group cooperative work. Final sessions will be devoted to the presentation of  the Lesson Plans created, which in turn constitutes another learning activity for the remaining participants.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

  1. Attendance (80% minimum)  will be evaluated with a checklist.
  2. Theory will be evaluated with the lesson plan learners must design and justify in a detailed way.
  3. Practice will also be evaluated regarding the methodology created and implemented in the lesson plan.

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

As this subject tends to have few students, It is likely teaching will take place in a physical environment. If this is not the case, theory (aproximately 50%) will take place by using google meet. Practice contents will take place in the classroom, face to face. Evaluation will mantain the same type of tasks and percentages, allowing for the possibility of redesigning some of the tasks for an asyncronous presentation/evaluation.

Depending on situation, face-to-face teaching, aproximately 50% of the time

11 interactive two-hour lectures, including synchronous online participation with the rest of the group. Face to face sessions will take place with all the students in alternative sessions.

Depending on situation, face-to-face teaching, aproximately 50% of the time

9 two hour practice sessions, following the same format as in the theory. However, whenever possible, practice will be face to face rather than online.

9. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

Both theory and practice contents will be presented using google meet. Presentations (assessable activities) will take place using again google meet. Evaluation will be the same, but by means of syncronous and asyncronous assingments and presentations.

Desarrollo de 9 sesiones prácticas, de dos horas de duración cada una, aplicando la rotación en grupos reducidos del 50%. Retransmisión de clases prácticas al resto del grupo.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
