4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Expository classes

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

From the beginning of the module, after explaining some basic issues, students will be provided with reading material to work on at home and in the following classes. 

In the following classes, questions arising from the proposed material will be analysed, debated and resolved. Likewise, objective tests will be carried out in which the students must reflect the acquisition of the knowledge worked on in class.  

The overall grade of the student will be the sum of the grades obtained in the tests and theoretical-practical activities carried out in class and through the platform (70%) and attendance and participation (30%). Specifically, the evaluation will be carried out according to the criteria detailed below:  

Students must submit a work/memory through virtual teaching. The instructions for carrying it out will be explained by the teachers in class and an explanatory document with the necessary instructions will also be posted. Likewise, the ILIAS platform will detail the deadlines and delivery date. The weight of this work will be 70% of the course grade.

Attendance and participation (active participation, delivery of class activities...) of the students in face-to-face classes on the proposed days, which coincide with the initial planning of the subject. The weight of this section will be 30% of the course grade.

In extraordinary calls, students may choose to take advantage of: 1) the same evaluation procedure provided for in ordinary calls; 2) to a single test evaluation procedure that will cover all the aspects and contents of the subject. In the latter case, students must notify the teachers in writing at least 10 days in advance.

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

6 sessions of participatory master classes on the contents of the program Face-to-face at 50% and synchronous at 50%, unless the capacity of the classroom allows 100% attendance Both the theoretical contents of the subject and the resolution of practical cases in small groups by the students with the guidance and supervision of the teachers will be addressed. Each of these sessions will last 4 hours and will take place in person and, if necessary to guarantee safety, with a mixed scenario: 50% of the students in the classroom and 50% by videoconference. If necessary, based on the number of students enrolled and the capacity of the classroom, the total student body will be divided into two groups and attendance will rotate.
Directed activities in virtual teaching platform -Activities to be carried out by the students on class days, face-to-face at 50% and synchronous at 50%. -Activities to be developed by the students autonomously. Activities carried out by the students with a limited delivery time established in the virtual teaching platform.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
