These contents connect with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs that are worked on in this subject are: - SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; - SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities; - SDG12: Responsible Production and Consumption; - SDG13: Climate Action.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures in large group: They will consist of master classes of the program content for the whole group. The contents will be developed and discussed. In some subjects audiovisual sessions are used for a better understanding of the contents. Problems and exercises proposed by the professor will be solved. This methodology and activities will allow students to acquire the indicated competences.

Small group classes: Focused on project-based learning, classes will be held in the laboratory or in the classroom, where the student will receive a script with the objectives of each practice or project and the procedure to follow for its development. The student will have to take note of the necessary data
to carry out the development or the corresponding calculations and to be able to make a correct report. Computer practices will be carried out with specific software of Materials Selection. In addition, exercises will be solved, expositions and other practical activities will be carried out.

Collective tutorials: Sessions in which the students will present to the teacher: resolution of doubts or questions in the understanding of the contents, orientation, revision of problems, follow-up and evaluation of the directed activities, as well as presentation and expositions of works, etc., that arise throughout the development of the course.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Exam written on the dates indicated officially in the guide of the student. This test objective will consist in answer to questions short or type test in which is dealt with them aspects more important of the subject, besides in the resolution of problems. In addition, there will be intermediate thematic tests that the student must pass with a grade higher than 5 out of 10. (C20;) B1; B2; Q3).

Practices of laboratory and of computer: P4; B2; Q3; C20

Attendance and active participation in class, (5%), to achieve 5% rating the student must attend at least 80% of classes and participate actively, delivery of activities (10%): B1; B2; Q3; C20.

In extraordinary examination it will be ensured that the student can pass the subject, and if necessary, obtain the highest grade, by performing an assessment test.

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

In the mixed scenario, the teaching modality (format) is not chosen by the teacher, but is determined by the center and will be: "face-to-face as far as the socio-sanitary situation allows".

All teaching activities -including evaluation- will be face-to-face as far as the socio-sanitary situation allows it.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
