and well-being). Objectives 4 (quality education) and 5 (gender
equality) will be promoted across the board.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theoretical class (large group or teaching group): (3.8 ECTS) Methodology: master class. Presentation by the teaching staff of the contents of the thematic units of the subject, promoting discussion and active participation of the students. Preparation by the students of works on topics of interest related to the subject and presentation of the same to the rest of the group. The students will acquire the skills: CT1, CT3, CT8, CT9, CT10, CE24.

Group tutorials (very small groups): (0.2 ECTS). Methodology: Very small groups where the students will pose and try to solve, together with the teacher, those doubts and questions that have arisen during the rest of the training activities. The use of virtual media (teaching platform) will be encouraged to resolve doubts and problems, as well as to monitor students. The students will acquire the skills: CT4, CT6, CT7, CT9, CT10

Practical classes (2.0 ECTS). Methodology: laboratory practices and practices in computer rooms. Research work will be developed collaboratively in small groups. The students will acquire the skills CT2, CT5, CT8, CT9, CT10, CE26, CG8, CG11.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Mastery of the theoretical knowledge of the subject will be assessed through a written exam (60%). The assistance and participation in the practical sessions will be valued with 10% of the grade, the development and presentation of the research work corresponds to 20%. Finally, the students will carry out monographic works (10%) in which a general evaluation of some of the acquired competences will be made.

The course cannot be passed if the theoretical exam is not passed.

Competences evaluated with each instrument:

Theoretical exam: CT1, CT3, CT4, CT6, CT7, CT8, CT9, CT10, CE24

Practical test: CT2, CT5, CT8, CT9, CT10, CE26, CG8, CG11

Realization of monographic works: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT6

Observation and teacher's notes: CT3, CT4, CT6, CT8, CT9
