33 theoretical academic sessions (in a large group) in which the proposed theory program will be developed.

3 sessions of laboratory practices of 4 hours, and 1 session in the computer room of 2 hours (in small group), in which the students will carry out, in an interactive way, different techniques and experimental methods. The results obtained must be analysed, discussed and presented by completing the questionnaires practices.

3 problem sessions of 2 hours (in a small group), in which the students must solve problems applying the knowledge acquired in the different parts of the subject.

3 sessions of 2-hour training activities (in a small group), which include Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and resolution of practical cases, as well as presentations and debates on selected topics, carried out by teams of 2 or 3 students.

Tutorials (individual and collective) in which you can raise all those questions or doubts related with the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Assessment methodology:
1) Evaluation of theoric curriculum and problems (60%),

2) Evaluation of laboratory practice (20%)

3)Evaluation of training activities including problem based learning and oral presentation (20%).

The Theory and the Problems will be evaluated through a continuous evaluation test (eliminatory with a grade equal to or greater than 5 points) and a final exam. It is necessary to obtain a mark higher than 4.0 points in the final exam to be able to make average with the rest of the qualifications of the subject.

Laboratory Practice will be evaluated by a laboratory exam and the presentation of lab results. A mark equal or higher than 5 points is necessary to pass the exam.

The attendance to laboratory sessions and the presentation of the results are compulsory.

Training activities will be evaluated through the assessment of the activities carried out and, where appropriate, their presentation and defense, as well as through multiple choice tests.

The student can choose to make the exams in Spanish or English.
