The contents and competencies of this subject integrate the following SDG :

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The methodological strategies will be based on the different contents that are presented in the program, the available resources and the participatory attitude of the students.

  • Strategies will be used that promote the integration of information, the transfer of what has been learned, independent work, the master class...
  • Combination of work in flexible groupings and individually.
  • Alternation of inductive and deductive strategies (readings, case studies, reporting).
  • In this sense, the lecture will be combined as an introductory strategy for the topics with autonomous work and tutoring in such a way that the teacher has a broad knowledge of the students.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The three parts of the subject must be passed (participation, practices and theory) to consider the call approved. Attendance must be greater than 80%.

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

Teaching methodology and training activities:

  • Expository classes in a large group. Face-to-face up to 50%. Development of 45 sessions of participatory master classes of one hour each, held in the classroom and broadcast to the rest by videoconference if the technical means allow it. 
  • Practice group classes. Face-to-face up to 50%. Development of 15 one-hour practice sessions each carried out in the classroom, broadcast by videoconference to the rest of the group if the technical means allow it. Periodic rotation of students.

 

Evaluation:

In the multimodal scenario, the same evaluation criteria established in the system are maintained face-to-face. Both in the ordinary and in the extraordinary call, the following system will be carried out evaluation:

  • Attendance and participation: 10% of the final grade. It will be evaluated through observation and student participation in class activities. Attendance will be controlled exclusively at practical classes, this being compulsory.
  • Conceptual knowledge of the subject. 60% of the final grade. It will be evaluated based on the completion of an objective face-to-face test that can be online synchronously.
  • Realization of practical activities. 30% of the final grade. It will be evaluated from the presentation of works by the student. In the event that the student does not pass this part, they must take the practical exam of the subject through a face-to-face development test that can be online synchronously.

To pass the subject it will be necessary for the student to obtain at least 50% in each of the aspects considered.

 

Resources:

Different teaching support resources will be used, such as the virtual platform and other institutional resources for synchronous activities and email, forums and tutorials (individual and group) for asynchronous activities.

In the mixed scenario, when appropriate, the teaching staff involved in the delivery of teaching reserves the right not to give consent for the capture, publication, retransmission or reproduction of their speech, image, voice and explanations of the chair, in the exercise of their teaching functions, within the scope of the University of Jaen.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE (on line exams)

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
