4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

1. Lectures: focused on the theory contents of the subject.

2. Practical classes: in which the student will develop his/her skills on the subject.

3. Seminars: focused on a particular aspect of the syllabus.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The evaluation procedure will followed the RD 1125/2003 (september 5th) which stablishes the european credit system and the grading system in oficial university degrees.

Attendance and participation: 10%

Exam, class work, essays, oral presentations: 90%

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

                                                     Academic activities

Methodology and activities will not be altered.

If the infrastructure allows it, there will be a 100% presential attendance.

If not, there will be presential attendance every other week just by a number of a students, the rest of them will follow these classes via videoconference, as long as the technical means allow it, and/or there will be asynchronous sessions in which the student must accomplish some academic activities.

The other weeks teaching will be carried out via videoconference to all the students on their regular daily schedule.

Presential attendance groups will be stablished according to the proportion between the number of students and the capacity of the designated classroom.

Grading system:

There will be no changes. It will be the same grading system in both the ordinary and extraordinary exams dates.

Tuttoring:

Tuttoring will be held through email or via videoconference by previous appointment

 

In the virtual/classroom teaching scenario, the lecturer may not consent to the recording, publication, broadcasting or reproduction of his/her speech, image, voice, lectures and explanations while performing his/her professional duties at the University of Jaén.

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE (on line exams)

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
