3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

1. Introduction: history of textual criticism. Some concepts. Origins of textual criticism. Textual criticism from Humanism to today.

2. The textual Transmission. Manuscripts. Printing. Transmission problems (original and copies, errors and variants)

3. Types of edition: Facsimile edition. diplomatic edition. Annotated edition. critical edition. Others.

4. The critical edition: The review. The constitution textus. The dispositio textus

5. Annotation and interpretation of the text. critical apparatus. The text annotation

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

a) Exposition of theory and general examples.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

For the evaluation, the active participation of the students will be taken into account, especially in the debates and exercises proposed in class (20%), as well as the carrying out of exercises and/or work/s in which they are able to apply the theoretical contents developed. throughout the course (80%).

8. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

LEARNING ACTIVITIES:

No change from the teaching guide in terms of methodology and activities.

If the infrastructure permits, there will be 100% presence.

If the infrastructure does not allow 100% presence, there will be presence in alternate weeks. In the face-to-face weeks, part of the students will attend the class, while the rest will be able to follow these sessions in a synchronous manner by videoconference, provided that the technical means allow it. In the off-site weeks the teaching will be virtual for the group as a whole, with regular sessions, also synchronous, by videoconference.

The attendance rotation system in the classroom weeks shall be established in accordance with the ratio between the number of students and the capacity of the classroom assigned.

EVALUATION SYSTEM: No change from the teaching guide in terms of the evaluation system.

The evaluation system shall be the same for ordinary and extraordinary calls.

TUTORIALS:

The tutorials will be attended by email, or, in the schedule established for this purpose, by videoconference, by appointment.

RESOURCES:

  • The videoconferencing sessions will be carried out through Google Meet.
  • In addition, the UJA teaching platform will be used.

In the virtual-teaching scenario, the lecturer may not consent to the recording, publication, broadcasting or reproduction of his/her speech, image, voice, lectures and explanations while performing his/her professional duties at the University of Jaén.

9. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

Academic activities

Methodology and activities will not be altered. Teaching will be carried out via videoconference to all the students on their regular daily schedule.

Evaluation system:

There will be no changes. Written or oral texts, exercises andessays will be carried out via telematic means.

It will be the same evaluation system in both the ordinary and extraordinary exams dates.

Tutorials:

Tutorials will be attended through email or via videoconference by previous appointment

RESOURCES:

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
