CONTENT:
Unit 1.A. Questions and answers. Grammar (question formation), Vocabulary (working out meaning from context) Pronunciation (intonation: showing interest)
Unit 1.B. It is a mystery. Grammar (auxiliary verbs; the...., the....+ comparatives), Vocabulary (compound adjectives) Pronunciation (intonation: showing interest)
Unit 2.A. Doctor, doctor! Grammar (present perfect simple and continuous), Vocabulary (illnesses and injuries) Pronunciation (see page 26)
Unit 2.B. Act your age. Grammar (using adjectives as nouns, adjective order), Vocabulary (clothes and fashion) Pronunciation (vowel sounds)

N.B. (1): In order to pass the subject it will be necessary to get at least 5/10 considering all the assessment criteria above.
N.B. (2): as for the dates for the final exam, international students should note that, unless there are exceptional reasons, no alternative dates to the official ones will be offered to them, as they will be considered in exactly the same terms as the rest of the students. All official exams will take place in May-June (regular exams or "convocatoria ordinaria") and -if the student does not pass the subject- in June-July (extraordinary exams or "convocatoria extraordinaria").

1. TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND TEACHING ACTIVITIES*
*The information in the following tables will depend on the sanitary conditions and facilities available.

There will be 15 physical theoretical group lectures in the classroom on theory, sanitary conditions and facilities permitting. If they do not, then these theoretical lectures will be given through video conference, synchronously, using GSuite Meet. |

Classes with the students' physical presence up to 100% of the space provided. |
There will be 45, 1 hour practical sessions, which will be given physically in the classroom sanitary conditions and facilities permitting. If they do not, then some sessions will be given synchronously through GSuite Meet and others asynchronously on the virtual platform. |

2.2. 2nd Sitting/resit*
The exam will be physical and will include both theoretical and practical contents of the subject up to 100% of the final mark. It will be 100% physical providing that both the sanitary conditions and facilities allow it to be.

- 2.2. 2nd sitting/ Resit
This will be a synchronous and / or asynchronous test in which both the theoretical and practical contents of the subject will be assessed. This exam will constitute 100% of the final mark.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.
Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.
Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.
Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.
Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
