4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The syllabus will be developed through theoretical and practical classes. In the first, the content of the six topics included in the program is exposed. Students must also study a selection of bibliographic references that are especially suitable for each topic to develop its contents.

In practical classes, student participation is crucial for the normal development of the sessions. Cooperative learning will be encouraged. The practical sessions will be based on the elaboration and correction of grammar exercises as well as on the revision of the bibliographic readings. All of this will contribute to a better understanding of the content program.

Likewise, student-centered methodologies will be used, such as the Flipped Classroom approach, which will be implemented in a group activity that students will have to carry out in Unit 3. This activity will encourage both autonomous work outside the classroom and cooperative work inside the classroom. For the implementation of the model, several digital tools such as Google Form will be used.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
