5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

DETAILED INFORMATION:

The evaluation of the students is continuous and global, needing to pass the exam of the theoretical part of the subject and the practical part (5 points out of 10), independently, to calculate the global qualification of the subject.

  • Attendance and/or participation in face-to-face and/or virtual activities, works, cases or exercises (5%): It will be evaluated considering the attendance to virtual or face-to-face conferences on the subject that may be planned during the course (with delivery of work), the participation and quality of the students' contributions will be considered. Likewise, the results of tests carried out through online platforms will be evaluated in this section.
  • Theoretical concepts of the subject (theoretical part) (70%): will be evaluated by means of a test type examination on the official examination dates.
  • Performance of work, cases or exercises (5%): the Index of Medication will be evaluated (it consists of an index-type notebook where students must collect the medications studied in the subject (active ingredient + indication). The evaluation of the index will consist of finding in the index the 5 medicines chosen at random previously by the teacher. 0.1 for each drug found].
  • Laboratory/field practice/use of ICT tools (practical part) (20%): Knowledge of the practical part of the course (laboratory seminars) will be assessed by means of a test.

Attendance to all the practical classes and the performance of the different activities related to them is an essential requirement to apply the previous evaluation aspects.

"The curricular practices of Degree and Master, which are developed within the facilities of the University of Jaén, will be adapted as far as possible to the non-attendance format, trying to acquire competences and learning results similar to those foreseen in the attendance format. To this end, the following is considered:

- In cases where the practices carried out up to the date of confinement have allowed a reasonable volume of learning results to be achieved that guarantee a sufficient acquisition of competences (minimum 50% of the planned practices), these will be considered as carried out, completed with alternative training methodologies (projects, reports, training programmes, etc.).

- The practical classes will be adapted to the non-attendance format, taking advantage of the experience accumulated in the current four-month period.

- Exceptionally, if some specific competences of the subject could not be completely acquired in this course and had continuity in subjects of later courses, a specific reinforcement plan could be developed for the next course, which will be recorded in the teaching guides of the affected subjects".
