P2: Electrical installations calculation 1: Residential building
P3: Electrical installations calculation 2: Public audience premises
P4: Electrical installations calculation 3. Classified industry
TC2: Directed learning activity: Final review
It is intended to offer a general and systematic view of the subjects, highlighting their most important aspects, as well as motivating students by those with expert knowledge in this matter by means of dialogue and exchange of ideas.
The theoretical and practical classes will be developing in class, alternating problems with theoretical explanations whenever necessary. During the course, there will be used overhead projectors, transparencies, etc.
In these theoretical and practical classes, it is aimed that the student acquire the needed knowledge so as to achieve their targets and competences
The fundamental source of support will be the Virtual Teaching Platform, with which the student should be familiar. The student will find all the needed information in order to pass the course successfully, such as recommended readings, problems and other matter of interest. In the virtual course four different forums will be created: to respond to student queries about the subject, to promote students interaction, general issues, and tutorial support.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
Theoretical written exam: In order to take the exam, all the directed learning activities must be previously submitted. The written exam is worth 60% of the total mark.
Directed learning activities: 30%
Attendance and active participation in class: 10%
In order to pass the matter (total score higher than or equal to 5 marks out of 10) it is also necessary to get a minimum of 3.5 marks out of 10 in the theoretical written exam and the directed learning activities
