3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Development of the Programme:

1. Introduction to the set of complex numbers.

2. Real functions of real variable. Limit. Continuity.

3. Derivable functions.

4. Integration.

5. Matrix. Determinants.

6. Vector spaces.

7. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a matrix.

8. Geometry.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

In the lectures in large groups, the theoretical aspects of the subject will be developed, practical examples will be given and exercises will be solved.

In the practical classes, exercises will be solved with the help of the computer.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The evaluation will consist of a final test or exam with a weight of 80%, a mark for exercises and class work (10%) and a mark associated with a computer-based practical exam (10%).

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

In the case of not having the possibility of giving the regular courses face-to-face, the theory classes will be recorded and transmited online.

 

In addition to that, exercises and activities will be proposed in order to allow the student to have some autonomy in the learning process. Different sorts of material will be uploaded to facilitate keeping up with the cours.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

In the case of having to do remote classes, this will be achieved by using Google's Meet tool.

 

Additionally, videos, exercises and other activities will be uploaded to make it easier for the students to follow the cours.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
