4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

All the topics will begin with a study of the regulations to be applied in each case, it will continue with a study of the system components to finish with the design of the facilities and the realization of a practical example.

Theoretical classes: In them the theoretical foundations of the subject will be exposed. Participation will be encouraged through the question method and the search for debate within the class.

The theoretical lectures are held in large groups with exposition of Theory, Application Regulations and practical examples. The practical activities will be carried out in computer rooms / or online through the virtual PCs or by installing each student on their PC , the programs of each type of facility, downloaded from the STORE of CYPE's BIM SERVER CENTER.This activity fosters the ability to project by applying innovative and cutting-edge knowledge applying BIM Methodology In this way, the competencies would be adapted as follows shape:

1. The CB10R competence would remain as "That the students possess the collaborative learning skills that allow them to continue studying in a way that will have to be largely self-directed or autonomous, implementing the figure of the BIM MANAGER".

2. In turn, the CE17 competence "Ability to design in 3D, virtual modeling of facilities, projection according to specific regulations of each type of installation, construction, management and operation of building facilities and industrial plants.").

3. The CE20 competence is modified as "- Knowledge and skills to project and design in 3D, virtual modeling with BIM Methodology of installations, electrical and fluid installations, lighting, air conditioning and
ventilation, energy saving and efficiency, acoustics, communications, home automation and smart buildings and security installations ".

4. The CG02 competence - Project, calculate and design products, processes, facilities and plants with BIM methodology

The modifications of the competencies adopted to the SyS would remain: General competences: CG12 - Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the legislation on Health and Safety necessary in the exercise of the profession of Industrial Engineer. Transversal competences: CT02 - Capacity for information management, handling and application of technical specifications and the necessary legislation on Health and Safety for the practice of engineering. Specific competences: CE14 - Abilities for work organization and human resources management. Knowledge of occupational risk prevention implementing specific tools to apply prevention measures and SyS in Industrial Facilities in collaborative BIM environments.

Solving problems: For their resolution in class, practical exercises will be proposed to strengthen the theoretical foundations and develop the necessary skills for mastering the subject.

Practices: Practices will be developed in a computer room to learn how to use a project facilities tool. (CYPE MEP-CYPE REBT and CYPE Plumbing Plumbing and Sanitation)

Exhibitions: There will be a public exhibition of the work or practices carried out.

Tutorials and personalized attention: Both during the established tutoring hours and via email, specific questions that arise throughout the course will be resolved.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The student's evaluation will be carried out by means of a final exam or the continuous evaluation of the work throughout the course, as follows:

The student will be evaluated based on the following criteria and weights.

3. FINAL EXAM, which may be replaced by FINAL WORK, developed continuously during the course and collaboratively open BIM MANAGER by teams and with a final presentation in class. Carry out a complete project of all the necessary facilities in an industrial or civil building. Through BIM SERVER EDUCATION (70%) (Aspect S3: Structure and quality of documentation. Competences to evaluate: CE18, CE17, CG02, CT05, CB10R, CG12, CT02, CE20. Results to evaluate: 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 , 13.4, 13.5)

Note: A percentage of 10% of the Evaluation of PRACTICES Aspect S2 and of the FINAL WORK aspect S3 will correspond to the health and safety measures and in particular to the H&S Study applied to each type of industrial installation based on its risks and prevention and protection measures.

A percentage of 10% of the Evaluation of PRACTICES Aspect S2 and of the FINAL WORK aspect S3 will correspond to the application, handling, calculation and use of Open BIM tools applied to analyze the aspects of improvement of the energy and economic efficiency of the facilities, or to analyze the aspects of environmental impact and sustainability, as well as those related to the socio-sanitary safety of each type of industrial installation
