4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theoretical lessons. Regular classres will be held into A3-D264 ( Building A3- 2nd floor)

Practical lessons. It's necessary attend practical lesson (Electrical Machines' laboratory-A3-2nd floor D-257- or Electrical Installations' laboratory -A3-D-266-). Besides, it will be used specialized software for sizing of electrical installations in low and high voltage.

Technical visits. Depend on the special circunstances.

Team work: at the beginning of our course, students must incorporate into a team group (3 or 4 persons per group) and argue with professor the aim of their tasks  referred to one specific topic of this course.

Besides, each student will prepare another one as a personal work. Finally, students will expose their own research and team work once again these tasks have been finished.

All the scheduled activities will be advertise inside Ilias Platform (an online course offered by UJA).

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

  • Student participation will make up to 15 % of the final mark ( it will considerated your attendance at tutorial lessons, seminars, technical events, visits, forum,...)
  • Final exam will be about theoretical and practical aspect defined during the course and will make up to 40 % of the final mark and mandatory get at least 1 point over 4p.
  • Personal and team work, and oral presentation will be worth up to 40% of the mark (one personal 20 %, another in team work  up to 20% and laboratory lessons or computer-based lessons up to 5%.  Personal and team work must be expose in regular classes.

RESOURCES

Since the group has been below 30 students, the theory classes can be taught in a classroom with sufficient capacity where there are means to make video conferences through GOOGLE MEET for both theory classes and guided practical sessions. The electronic resources in this multimodal or mixed scenario will be ILIAS (Contents, websites of interest, audios, forums -asynchronously-, delivery of work and / or practices) as well as the possibility of using the Google DOCs tool. The practical sessions called TECHNICAL VISITS depend on the possibility of carrying them out and, where appropriate, will be replaced by other guided work and sessions recorded by the on-site teacher. The electronic bibliographic resources will be those available in the BUJA and on web pages of interest for the matter that concerns us.
