4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures will consist of theory and general examples.

Practical classes in small groups will consist of various practical activities (case studies, exercises, etc.). This is a continuous assessment course.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

There will be a theoretical exam (7 points) in which a minimum of 3.5 points will be required to add the practical grade. Likewise, throughout the term, exercises and practical activities will be carried out (3 points) that will be added to the grade of the theoretical exam for the calculation of the final grade.

The course is face-to-face, so students should be aware that it is essential to attend classes and carry out the practical activities during the four-month period. If a student cannot come to class for justified reasons (illness or work), he/she must communicate it in writing to the person in charge of the course within the first two weeks of class, since the internships must be scheduled specifically for them throughout the term in order for the student to have access to the internship grade. The competencies that are evaluated with the internship cannot be developed in a written exam.

This evaluation system is valid both for the ordinary exams and for the extraordinary exam II.

The grade for the internship will be kept for the extraordinary exam 1 of the following year, so the exam in that exam will be evaluated with 7 points.

With the written exam the competences E13 and E12A will be evaluated. With the exercises and practical activities the following competences will be evaluated: G04, G12, G14 and G19.

This double evaluation system guarantees the assessment of competences E26, G1, G8 and G9.

In accordance with article 11 of the academic and student evaluation system, it is completely forbidden for the student to
The use in class, by the student, of any electronic device not expressly authorized by the teacher, such as cell phones, image and sound players, etc., is strictly forbidden. Failure to comply with this rule will result in expulsion from class. Repetition of this behavior will result in permanent exclusion from class and may lead to expulsion from the University of Jaén.

In compliance with article 11 of the academic and evaluation regime of the student body, any student who does not contribute to facilitate a good dynamic in the class with his/her behavior and attitude will be asked to leave the class, with the corresponding consequences in the final evaluation. Repetition of this type of behavior will result in the permanent exclusion of the student from the class and may lead to expulsion from the University of Jaén, after the corresponding procedure has been carried out.
