4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The theory classes will be developed through keynote expositions of the theoretical concepts of the subject, in a participative environment, with presentation of applications and examples.

The practice classes will allow the accomplishment of exercises on natural resources and hazards, in a computer classroom and by means of GIS and specific software for modelling. They include a fieldtrip for observation of processes associated to external geodynamics: landslides and erosive processes. Integral management of processes.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

With the theory exam, the competences CB6, CB7, CB9, CG1IGEO, CG2IGEO, CG3IGEO, CG4IGEO, CT1, CT2, CT5, E06MIGEO, E07MIGEO, E09MIGEO are evaluated.

Results RB6, RB7a, RG1IGEO, RG2IGEO, RG3IGEO, RG4IGEO, RT1, RT2, RT5, RE06MIGEO, RE07MIGEO, RE09MIGEO.

With the accomplishment of practices, the competences CB6, CB7, CB9, CB10, CG1IGEO, CG2IGEO, CG3IGEO, CT1, CT2, CT4, CT5, E06MIGEO, E07MIGEO, E09MIGEO, E10MIGEO are evaluated.

Results: RB6, RB7a, RB7b, RB7c, RB10, RG1IGEO, RG3IGEO, RT1, RT2, RT4, RT5, RE06MIGEO, RE07MIGEO, RE09MIGEO, RE10MIGEO.

With the attendance and participation, the competences CB7, CB9, CG1IGEO, CG4IGEO, CT4, CT5, E06MIGEO.

Results: RB7a, RB9, RG1IGEO, RG4IGEO, RT4, RT5, RE06MIGEO.

To pass the subject will be necessary to pass the theory exam and the practical work of the subject, independently.

The final score of the subject will be calculated taking into account the weighting of each of the parts (theory and practices).
