FIELDTRIP (F.J. García Tortosa and L.M. Nieto Albert

Two fieldtrips will be made to analyze several geosites, their geology, potential values and vulnerability. 

Abilities: CB7, CB8, CT1, CT2, CT3, G01MHAB, G01MHABI, GO2MHAB, G03MHABI, RB8, RB9, RG01mHAB, RG02mHAB, RG03mHA, RT1, RT2, RT3.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

THEORY: short presentation of the main concepts related with each of the topics shown in the theoretical contents. The abilities are: RB10, RB6, RB7b, RB8, RB9, RG01mHAB, RG02mHAB, RG02mHA, RG04mHA, RT1, RT2.

FIELDTRIP: fieldtrip reports about the geodiversity and geoheritage of the areas visited in both fieldtrips. Abilities: RB7c, RB8, RB9, RG01mHAB, RG02mHAB, RG03mHA, RT1, RT2, RT3.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

THEORY: an exam about the theoretical and practical concepts developed in both kinds of activities proposal for the matter will be evaluated. Besides, several tests exercices will be proposed (one for each theoretical topics). The weight of exam and test is of 17 % each one. The final weight of the theoretical exercices is of 34 %.

FILEDTRIP: the filedtrip reports will be evaluated according to the next criteria: appearance (cleaness, quality of the figures), correct use of scientific language (grammar, ortography), correct schedule of the report, use of correct bibliography. The weight of the practices reports is of 66%.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
