This Master's Degree will be taught on a blended basis. The
attendance rate of this Master is 16%. This means that, out of
every 150 hours of the Master, the student will remain in the
classroom with the professor for 24 hours, will carry out work and
activities on the virtual teaching platform for 36 hours and will
work independently for 90 hours.
The students will have at their disposal written material for
the classroom session, published in the virtual teaching platform
and/or through bibliographic references.
As for the activities carried out in a non face-to-face way,
the following are the training activities, teaching methodologies
corresponding to the virtual teaching.
a.-Training activities through virtual teaching. The
University of Jaén has a virtual teaching platform called
ILIAS where all the subjects of this Master's Degree will be found,
in which all its teaching staff will be registered and may request
the inclusion of other additional subjects or additional spaces if
necessary.
They will be carried out:
- Videoconference: The teaching staff of the subject will
give seminars or conferences as complementary virtual training to
the module supported by the technical service of audiovisuals of
the University of Jaén.
This activity will be carried out by the videoconferencing
service of the UJA through Adobe Connect (Seminar recording
service) and through the publication service of audiovisual content
in the Channel of Publication and Dissemination of Content of the
University (tv.ujaen.es).
The University of Jaén has an institutional content
channel (tv.ujaen.es). The faculty can publish their contents in
this media once they have been registered in the repository, by
means of this publication request and once approved with the
approval of the Communication Secretariat. In order for students to
view it, a password will be provided to the faculty and a link will
be uploaded to the ILIAS Platform (platform used for virtual
teaching at the University of Jaén). Students will be able
to access this videoconference live or recorded through the
password provided by the teacher.
- Forum: A forum will be enabled for each subject (every 5/6
ECTS) in which aspects related to the subject will be discussed.
The faculty, through the subject coordination, will launch a topic
for debate in order to encourage the critical spirit and
professional criteria of the students.
- Didactic resources in virtual teaching: Each professor will
have a virtual space on the platform and will make available to the
students the topics and presentations used in class, as well as
other complementary material such as regulations, articles, links
to web resources, etc.
b.- Teaching methodology:
The virtual teaching methodology will be supported by two
types of tools:
- Synchronous tools (real time communication). Based mainly
on chats, videoconferencing and on-line tutorials (through virtual
tools such as Skype, Adobe Connect, etc.). Currently, the
University of Jaén has an Audiovisual Media Service that
facilitates, advises and provides support for holding
videoconferences and group sessions on-line in any classroom or
room of the University of Jaén.
- Asynchronous tools (communication in different space and
time).
This type of tools are the e-mail that makes possible private
communication, sending messages to groups and participation in
forums, through the ILIAS Platform. The discussion forum allows
asynchronous communication and to raise different topics of debate
that encourage communication, critical analysis, interaction and
reflection of students, as well as encourage their motivation and
occupational maturity. Likewise, the University of Jaen has a
service available to all members of the university community, a
support and advice service for virtual teaching
https://www10.ujaen.es/conocenos/servicios-unidades/sga/cartaservicios/unidadsetic.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
Practical cases will be presented to evaluate the theoretical and practical contents of the course. There will also be an objective exam.

The activities that cannot be carried out in person will be
developed in blended learning format with rotating attendance up to
50%, and use of videoconferencing systems, provided that the
capacity and infrastructure of the space assigned for the teaching
of the subject allow it.
2) EVALUATION SYSTEM
The evaluation system and instruments will be the same as for
the face-to-face mode, substituting the face-to-face tests for
similar tests developed through the use of the online teaching
platform or others that the University allows or enables, provided
that the student's identity is guaranteed.
3) RESOURCES.
The videoconferencing systems available in the spaces enabled
for teaching will be used, as well as the University's teaching
platform. Activities that cannot be carried out face-to-face will
be carried out through synchronous and/or asynchronous activities
carried out through the virtual teaching platform.
It is expressly forbidden the recording by any means of the
face-to-face or non-face-to-face synchronous activities without the
explicit permission of the teacher.
1) TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES.
The activities that cannot be carried out face-to-face will
be carried out through synchronous and/or asynchronous activities
carried out through the virtual teaching platform and the
mechanisms that the University allows or enables.
2) EVALUATION SYSTEM.
The evaluation system and instruments will be the same as for
the face-to-face modality, replacing the face-to-face tests with
similar tests developed through the use of the online teaching
platform or others that the University allows or enables, as long
as the student's identity is guaranteed.
3) RESOURCES.
The activities that cannot be carried out face-to-face will
be carried out through synchronous and/or asynchronous activities
carried out through the virtual teaching platform.
In any case, it is expressly forbidden the recording by any
means of face-to-face or synchronous non-face-to-face activities
without the explicit permission of the teacher.
