BLOCK I. CONCEPTUAL APPROACH: SOCIAL ANIMATION, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, LEISURE, AND FREE TIME.
BLOCK II. THE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROFILE OF THE SOCIAL ANIMATOR.
BLOCK III. SOCIAL ANIMATION AND ITS AREAS OF INTERVENTION.
BLOCK IV. METHODOLOGICAL AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES OF SOCIAL ANIMATION RELATED TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
BLOCK V. PLANNING AND PROJECTION OF ACTIVITIES OF SOCIAL ANIMATION IN THE FIELD OF THE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The methodology to be used throughout the teaching-learning process in  "SOCIAL ANIMATION BASED ON PHYSICAL ACTIVITY" will be characterized by a theoretical-practical component. It implies a combination of theoretical sessions in the classrooms, also theoretical-practical sessions in the pavilion of the University, or any other suitable facility for it.

The different methods and activities that will be developed throughout this educational process are set out below

a) Lectures.

The lecture or theory class could be defined as "a teaching time occupied, entirely or mainly, by the continuous presence of a professor. Students can ask questions and participate in small discussions on the course. Principally, they listen to the professor and taking notes". Consequently, we can conclude that the method used fundamentally in these lectures is the expositive method, in which the teacher explains some content to the students having the opportunity to ask questions or participate in a small discussion.

b) Discussions

On certain occasions, the students have the opportunity to explain their experiences on specific topics related to health, physical activity, and Social Animation. It allows the students to introduce themselves in a much more participatory process. In addition, this type of activity encourages university students to share opinions and develop a critical and reflective attitude.

c) Theoretical-practical classes.

The theoretical-practical classes have an eminently practical component that is quite considerable. However, the professor will introduce different concepts related to the practical lesson before, during, or at the end of these sessions.

The expositive-demonstrative method will be used, so the professor is not the main part of the session. It will be the task, and how to carry it out. Also, how the task is performed.

d) Documentary reviews.

The documentary reviews are part of the student's training process, offering the opportunity to expand their information about the course. This review documentary does not limit their student's knowledge of what is strictly explained during the lesson. In addition, it can promote the attitude and the habit of increasing your cognitive baggage. The knowledge acquired through these reviews will form part of the content to be evaluated and may be reflected through essays or expositions, debates, etc. so that they have greater significance in their learning process.

e) Seminars that will deal with monographic content.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

To pass the theoretical and practical contents of the course, we have proposed a continuous and formative evaluation system. Consequently, the total score of the course will depend on:
a) Class attendance will be mandatory, being controlled through a control register. If the student misses more than 20% of the lesson (theoretical and practical), they will lose the possibility to be evaluated with this system. In this case, the students will have to take the theoretical-practical knowledge test (exam) on the official dates established in the academic guide of the corresponding scholar year. Being their final qualification in the course the results  of the official test (i.e., 100%). This test will include the theoretical, and practical content which has been conducted during the semester in the lectures.
Therefore, students enrolled in the course are offered the possibility of passing the course according to the Academic Regulation of Student Evaluation of the University of Jaén.

b) To students who have not missed more than 20% of the lectures, the evaluation instrument, and each percentage are the following:

b.1. Attendance and participation (50%). In this section, an attendance control will be carried out by a registration sheet. Regarding the participation of the students during the theoretical and practical lessons, the professor will propose activities that imply active and reflective participation during during the course.

b.2. Essay, and learning logs (30%). In this section, the student will have to do different tasks. It is described as follow:

1. Individual essays: Document review, Analysis of articles and practical reports, Practical cases, ...

2. Group essays: This will consist of the design of intervention proposals and / or projects to promote physical activity and sport in the different areas of social education. Formal reports will be presented in these essays, and they will have to present to the other student.
b.3. Theoretical-practical test (20%)
