3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

1. The sex / gender system and theorizing from the social sciences of gender relations.

2. Gender inequalities and their interrelation with other categories of inequality (social class, age, ethnicity, foreigners ...) and inequality systems and situations (related to access to housing, employment, dependency situations, states of Health,...).

3. Main social problems derived from gender inequality.

4. The gender perspective in social welfare policies and systems.

5. The incorporation of the gender perspective in the work of professional social work from the social welfare systems: analysis, interpretation of social problems, design of intervention projects and intervention processes and evaluation processes.

6. Operationalization in social welfare systems and social work action of the concepts: Positive action, equality policies, empowerment, transversality and intersectionality.

7. Services and resources for gender equality.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Activity 1: Expository activities of the teacher and the students (theoretical exposition, seminars,

Activity 4: Tutoring both individually and in small groups
Activity 5: Personal work (individual or team work, preparation of presentations, study
personal...).
Activity 6: Evaluation

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The evaluation of the students will be carried out through the combination of various instruments:
1. Written test of an individual nature. Exam that will deal with the conceptual elements of the
subject, through objective tests, short answer tests, case resolution, etc.
2. Written and expository test of a group nature. It will consist of the evaluation of the group intervention project
to be done by students in small groups.
The evaluation of theoretical knowledge will be carried out through the first instrument 1. Both tests are
compulsory for all students and it will be a requirement to pass both exercises to pass the course.
The marks of the practices will be saved during the calls of the academic year. In the
extraordinary calls, students who have not completed the practices, in order to obtain the
maximum grade (10), you will have to do practical work following the teacher's guidelines.
Likewise, in the evaluation of the subject, any suspicion that the student is not complying with the
Examination regulations, as well as that you are using any method that exceeds the allowed
in the instructions administered in the evaluation, it will mean expulsion from the classroom and the corresponding
suspense rating.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above.
