Group elaboration of a reflexive project-work on one of the themes related to gender and social work
Presentation of contents learned in the practices by the students
The methodology and activities will be developed according to the teaching model implemented:
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
The selection of the evaluation methods will be carried out taking as criteria the relevant elements for the realization of the corresponding competences, contents-achievements associated to them, and taking into account the criteria for the realization of the competences of Annex 3 of the document of Criteria for the design of study plans for Degree Programs in Social Work approved by the Conference of Directors of Social Work Faculties and Departments on December 14, 2007.
The evaluation system comprises two options: Attendant and non-attendant students.
For the attendant student, who are those who can regularly attend the classroom or synchronous classes conducted by video conference, the evaluation will combine various methods:
- Written test of content: written test in which the study, understanding and application of the theoretical knowledge acquired in the subject will be evaluated, problem solving, short answer tests, reports and class diaries, portfolios, etc. It is necessary to pass it to add up the rest of the practice and class participation grades. Up to 5 points.
- Individual/group practice: Individual and group work done in class with the supervision of the teacher on one of the subject's practice topics. Attendance is mandatory. Not valid for other types of work. Up to 3.5 points.
- Active participation of the students: both in the theoretical and practical classes on the contents of the subject, as well as in the different spaces of participation that are activated in the class dynamic (forum, chat, debates). Up to 1.5 points.
The final qualification of the students will be the sum of the qualifications obtained in the exam, practices and participation, being essential to pass the exam in order to add up the rest of the qualifications.
The evaluation of the subject is global (from the sum of the different activities contemplated: exam, practices and participation) and continuous (the practices are progressive and it is necessary to attend to carry them out weekly). Non-participation in the work will automatically result in the student leaving the practice group, which will be evaluated by means of the exam.
The qualification of the internship and the participation will only be valid for the ordinary and extraordinary summons of the current course. It is necessary to pass the exam in order to add up the qualification of the work and the participation).
These criteria will be explained directly by the teachers at the beginning of the course.
The non-attendant student body refers to those students who, exceptionally, cannot regularly attend synchronous teaching and cannot follow the usual rhythm of work. In this case, the student must contact the teachers of this subject. The theoretical and practical contents will be evaluated by means of the exam test.
Any type of plagiarism or copying will be considered sufficient reason for the student to fail the subject in the current call. Likewise, more than three spelling mistakes in the works or the exam will mean the failure in the current call. The use of non-sexist and inclusive language is mandatory.
In the extraordinary call, the same procedure is maintained as for the ordinary call.
