In this subject a project-based learning is carried out in coordination with the following subjects belonging to this degree: MATHEMATICAL CARTOGRAPHY, GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS, CARTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTION, SPACE DATA INFRASTRUCTURE, THEMATIC CARTOGRAPHY AND GIS SOLUTIONS. Specifically, in the academic year 2018/2019 an Innovative Teaching Project was requested and coordinated by professors from the Department of Cartographic, Geodetic and Photogrammetric Engineering, entitled: PRODATO: A SET OF LINKED CARTOGRAPHY PRACTICES FOR STUDENTS OF THE DEGREE IN GEOMATICS AND TOPOGRAPHY for the realization of a project-based learning.

- Lectures theory where the agenda will be developed and proposed activities through issues, jobs, relationship problems, to encourage student participation.

- The practical classes will begin with an introduction and explanation of the teacher, student participating in the development.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

1. It will be necessary to pass the theory exam and practical assessment in order to pass the entire course.

2. To overcome the theoretical part of the course , you must obtain a minimum score of 5 out of 10 in each of the two parts into which the subject is divided , that is , first items 1, 2, 3 , 4, 7, 13 and 14; and secondly, the items 5, 6 , 8, 9 , 10, 11 and 12.

3. To overcome the practical work must be submitted to be responsible throughout the development of the same, ending in a delivery date prior to the regular call. A student in the Ordinary call not to hand the practices developed in class, must present and defend the proposed practices that teachers of the subject to the Special convocations, within the deadline set by the teachers.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES

Note: The Polytechnic School may vary the attendance percentage depending on the number of students and the capacity of the classroom / laboratory according to sanitary measures. In case of less than 100% attendance, there will be periodic rotation of students as determined by the Polytechnic School.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

Note: The Evaluation System will be the same for both the Ordinary and the Extraordinary Exam Calls.

RESOURCES

Computer and Projector in the case of theoretical classes, Computers in specialized laboratories in the case of practical teaching. Apart from this, the virtual teaching platform will be used to share material with students, set tutorials, etc.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

In the non-presential scenario, the same assessment tests will be maintained, as well as the corresponding percentages. In the case of the theory and problems exam, the instrument to be used to assess the theoretical knowledge of the subject will be an online exam. Specifically, a written test will be carried out using the platforms recommended by the university (Preferably Google Forms). In this case, teachers can ask students, both to answer additional questions about the assessment test and to verify their identity (by means of Meet Google session while they perform the exercise) maintaining micro and camera open.

Note: The Evaluation System will be the same for both the Ordinary and the Extraordinary Exam Calls.

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. Procedure aim: To manage proper recordings of teaching sessions with the aim of facilitating learning process under a multimodal and/or online teaching
