4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

In the large group lectures the teacher will present the theoretical concepts of matter and solve examples and exercises general type' that students must study for a correct use of the practical classes.

In practical classes in groups, students solve exercises whose statements have been previously downloaded from the virtual teaching platform of the University of Jaén (ILIAS), at least by freehand drawing, and will end them properly outlined autonomously at home. Some of them will be delineated using CAD software in the Department computer room.

Also, the maximum temporal continuity and coordination between theory and practice will be sought.

In the last week of the course, in a practice class, students must submit and present to their classmates, a study conducted in groups on any of the issues addressed in the subject, including resolution by freehand drawing and CAD, as well as photographs that demonstrate its application in practice.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Attendance and active participation in practical classes in groups (when the student has attended at least 50% of the classes) will be scored.  The mark obtained will be maintained in all calls of the course. This section will count 5% of the final grade for the course (the student could get up to 0.5 point out of 10). Group work (completion and presentation) will count 5% of the final grade of the subject (the student could earn up to 0.5 points out of 10).

The resolution of exercises weekly scheduled practices will be by carried out using conventional projective methods and 2D/3D CAD. The exercises and scheduled practices, only be assessed if the students delivered at least 80% of all of them and within the prescribed period during the class period, except, as far as delivery time, and judgment of teachers is concerned, duly justified exceptional situations. No later exercises will be accepted after the day of the final exam of the first regular call, but with a poenalización in 50% of the score. The score on this section will be maintained in all calls of the course. This section counted in the 20% mark of the subject (the student can earn up to 2 points out of 10).

The final exam will be held on the date and classrooms officially established by the Centre. The content will cover topics relevant to developed throughout the semester practical aspects, where you can appreciate, with knowledge levels achieved, the ability to analyze and skills achieved by the student. He counted 70% of the final grade for the course (student can earn up to 7 points out of 10).

By the scheduled practices CB7 competence and learning outcome 6 will be assessed, and by group work the CT2 , CT4 CT6 competencies will be evaluated.

In the Multimodal scene, the evaluation remains unchanged from the Face-to-face scene. The final exam will be Face-to-face and will be held on the officially established date.

During the course, a series of individual and/or group exercises and scheduled practices will be carried out based on the rotation established by the center on the CAD system. The works and/or practices will be carried out in accordance with the criteria established by the teachers, and will have to be delivered within the deadlines established by them.

The course is passed, if a weighted grade between theory and practice of 5 points is obtained (with a minimum of 4 points in both parts), considering it passed or failed in its entirety in each of the calls. The qualification of the personal work will be kept during the calls of the academic year.
