  1. Participatory master classes open to the approach of small debates, requesting collaboration, opinions and examples from the students, that is to say, provocative lessons, discussion and support in questions. The classes are developed with the support of visual material, which is provided to the students (through virtual teaching).
  2. Practical classes developed through different means: the case method; the approach of exercises; and group work of a mandatory nature, which must be developed in groups of up to 4 people, so as to encourage learning through teamwork.
  3. Tutorials. In person in the office and at the time established by the teacher. Telematically, after consulting with the teacher by email.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The procedure of continuous evaluation is used because it is the most convenient for the acquisition of the established competences. The student's final qualification will be determined by the sum of the following works:

  1. Realization and oral defense of a business plan, following the criteria established by the teacher. The business plan must have more than 40 pages, a structure in accordance with the presentation of a business project and the application of techniques that allow the technical, commercial and economic-financial viability of the proposed business idea to be evaluated. The weighting of the business plan and its oral defence will respond to 60% of the final qualification.
  2. Class attendance, lectures and seminars: continuous class attendance and active student participation will be valued. For this purpose, the instruments used will be observation and the teacher's notes, resulting from the dialectic and heuristic teaching methods. The weighting of this aspect in the final qualification will be 20%.
  3. Performance of work, cases or exercises. Throughout the course different practical exercises will be carried out to evaluate the mastery of the theoretical and operational knowledge of the contents exposed in the class. The evaluation criteria of these works will be subject to the structure of the exercise, the analytical and critical capacity of the student in its resolution, the quality and rigor of the documentation, the originality and the spelling and presentation. This section has a weight of 20% in the final grade.

One of the characteristics of this course is the absence of a final exam as an evaluation instrument, because it is more convenient to measure the knowledge and competences acquired by the student through the continuous evaluation procedure, which culminates with the realization and presentation of a business plan. Any student who does not contribute to facilitating a good dynamic in the class with his/her behaviour and attitude will be asked to leave the class, with the corresponding disciplinary measures.
