4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theoretical lectures will focus on concepts description and explanation incluiding some practical examples that will be solved on the blackboard. Media resources will be used as supporting tools.

 Practicas lectures will be focus on the resolution of exercises using excel program as a tool.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

We will follow a continuous assessment system:

Theoretical contents will be assessed with several type test (true or false questions) during the semester. R8. 30%

 Practical exam will consist on the resolution of some exercises using Excel program. R8, R10. 70%

 To pass the course, a minimum of 3 points on 10 are required in, at least, 80% of the conducted tests and exams.

The student that takes part in one of the continuous evaluation tests will appear as "PRESENTADO" ("TAKEN") in the evaluation of the course.

Extraordinary examination will consist on a theoretical and practical exam keeping the original weight and criterion for each part.

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

Teaching
methodology:

If the capacity of the classroom is sufficient for all the students
in the group, there will be 100% attendance.

If the capacity of the classroom is not enough, the attendance will
be partial, with a part of the students attending class. The rest
will be able to follow the class online. The face-to-face group
would rotate every week.

Evaluation system:

No change from the original teaching guide.

The tests will be carried out online if they cannot be done in
person, both during the semester and on the day of the official
exam.

Electronic resources to use:

Telematic resources will be required for teaching and assessment
activities that cannot be carried out in person.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

Teaching methodology:

100% of the classes will be taught online, both theory and practice.

Evaluation system:

No change from the original teaching guide. The tests and practices will be conducted online during the semester.

Electronic resources to use:

Telematic resources will be required for teaching and assessment activities that cannot be carried out in person.

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE (on line exams)

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
