Practice 4. Field observations, data capture and preparation of geoenvironmental maps. Includes a field-work day.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The theory classes will include keynote presentations of the theoretical concepts of the subject and examples, and where appropriate lectures on aspects of interest.

The practical classes will include practical problems to solve with the support of ICT tools in the computer classroom. In addition, a field day will be held, to collect data and make observations that will be used in the geoenvironmental mapping.

Nevertheless, theory classes and problems will be carried out in an integrated way.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

To pass the subject it will be necessary to pass the theoretical exam and the practices of the subject independently.

The qualification of the subject will be calculated according to the weighting of each of the parties (theory and practices).
