4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

THEORETICAL ACADEMIC SESSIONS: Expository fundamental method using didactic resources.

PRACTICAL ACADEMIC SESSIONS: The teacher will give the students scripts for the laboratory practical that will be developed in the laboratory or at home. The teacher will encourage student participation at all times.

EXHIBITION SESSIONS AND SEMINARS: Preparation individually or collectively of those topics and problems that have great difficulty for the student, which will be discussed in seminars.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

These criteria will be applied according to the following rules:

  1. a) There will be a written test of theory and problems, on the dates indicated for this purpose by the University. The subject of said test will be the explained in class, according to the course program.
  2. b) Practices will be evaluated based on written exam.
  3. c) To pass the subject, it will be an indispensable condition to have passed the practical and obtain a grade equal to or greater than 5 in the written test.

MEANS

The virtual classes will be taught using the Google Meet platforms or those dictated by the UJAEN at the time. Synchronous teaching will take precedence, although health circumstances (teacher or family illness, family reconciliation, etc.) could impose an asynchronous scenario, in which case the classroom would be recorded, which would be shared by Google drive and would be complemented by specific follow-up and training actions for this purpose (tutoring, tasks, deliveries, etc.)

As an additional measure, special attention would be paid to providing teaching material to students through the UJA virtual teaching platform and / or Google Drive.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

Teaching methodology Description

16 Hours practical sessions in specialized laboratories

Online

Substitution of 16 hours of practical sessions (8 sessions) for online training activities, using the application "Google Meet". Online sessions with content similar to the corresponding practical will be held synchronously. Support software will be used for these activities and will have a seminar format. Students will be given a script that they must complete and deliver to the teacher.

40 Theory sessions on the contents of the program
