7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

  1. TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Overall, teaching in large groups (32 master classes, lasting one hour) will be carried online (synchronously).

For teaching in Small Group Mode (Practice Groups), two situations will be considered, depending on the capacity of the laboratories and / or computer rooms:

  1. Groups with a number of students above the limited capacity in the classroom.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Format (presencial/online)*

Metodología docente Descripción

2 practical sessions in the laboratory

Face-to-face 50%

Development of 1 practice session in the laboratory, lasting 2 hours (data collection), applying rotation in small groups of 50%, and development of a practical session, lasting two hours, which is explained online (synchronous) the details and data processing obtained in the previous practice.

3 ICT seminars in computer room and problem solving

Face-to-face 50%

3 sessions of two hours each, carried out in the computer room and broadcasting by videoconference to the rest of the group. Periodic rotation of students.

Tutoring (individual)

Face-to-face + Online

Some tutoring sessions will be performed in person and others online (synchronous and asynchronous)

Face-to-face 100%

3 sessions of two hours each, held in the computer room.

Tutoring (individual)

Face-to-face + Online

Some tutoring sessions will be performed in person and others online (synchronous and asynchronous)

Finally, the three planned field practices will be carried out at 100% face-to-face, according to the security measures planned for outdoor teaching activities (use of masks, disinfection and social distance), and adapting transport (i.e. maximum number of students per bus) to what the regional regulations indicate.

  1. EVALUATION SYSTEM

The evaluation system is the same in both calls. It will be based: 1) on an online exam about the theoretical and practical contents of the subject (50%), carried out with the support of the virtual teaching resources (ILIAS) and Google (Google form and / or Google drive), and which will be supervised through Google Meet, 2) Delivery of individual and group exercises (45%) on problems, case resolution and practical activities, by email, virtual teaching resources (i.e., delivery of exercises) or shared folders from Google drive , and finally, 3) participation in theory or practical classes and tutorials, whether face-to-face or not (5%)

  1. RESOURCES

The virtual Teaching platform (ILIAS) will be used to supply notes and class material (pwp slides, bibliography, case studies, links to web pages or electronic resources, etc.), collection and correction of exercises and problems (delivery of exercises) and online evaluation (delivery of exercises, tests, surveys), using together with ILIAS Google form and Google drive. Special attention will be given to the provision and facilitation of electronic bibliographic resources (books and magazines) that reduce the need to go to the student's library. Individual tutoring will be done, preferably, by email (asynchronous) and, in some cases, by videoconference (synchronous). For online (synchronous) classes, Google Meet will preferably be used, planning the activity using the Google calendar.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

  • TRAINING ACTIVITIES

All teaching activities will be carried out online, regardless synchronous or asynchronous.

32 Master classes

Online

32 one-hour synchronous online clases

2 practical sessions in the laboratory

Replacement of the 2 practical laboratory sessions with synchronous online training activities: i) evaluation of land for olive cultivation (2 hours); ii) modeling the sediment yield of a basin using GIS (2 hours).

3 ICT seminars in computer room and problem solving

Online

3 sessions of two hours each, conducted online synchronously.

Tutoring (individual)

Online

All tutoring sessions will be conducted online (synchronous and asynchronous )

In a non-classroom setting, the three field practices will be dedicated to specific online seminars related to the content of these practices. The seminars will include, each of them, 3 hours of synchronous activity and 2 asynchronous hours for the resolution of questions and doubts. The proposed seminars will be the following: i) methodology of sampling and study of erosion through GIS: digital models of elevation, photointerpretation and remote sensing, ii) Study of a project of Restoration of areas degraded by forest fire, iii) Study of a project Restoration of biodiversity in olive groves.
