4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • Exhibition classes in large group: Master classes, introductory activities, conferences, exhibitions, visualization of theoretical content...
  • Classes in practice groups: Guided classes of practical activities, solving exercises, tasks and cases, visualization of practical contents, preparation works of practical content, exhibitions and debates, reading and handling of complementary material...
  • Group and individual tutorials: Supervision of works addressed, clarification of doubts, comments on individual or collective proposals.

 

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Attendance to classes and active participation is recommended for a correct assimilation of the contents although it is not reflected in the final evaluation. In order to pass the course, it will be necessary, on the one hand, to pass the exam scheduled for the end of the semester, which may be carried out through telematic means such as the Virtual Teaching platform or other similar means that allow it to be carried out. In addition, it will also be necessary for the students to prepare, present and defend the works requested by the teachers on the established dates, both theoretical and practical.

In the extraordinary call, it will be necessary, in the same way, to pass the exam, which may be carried out by electronic means and to prepare and deliver all the works requested in the ordinary call. These works will be delivered through virtual teaching, telematic means proposed by the university or email no later than the day established in said extraordinary call for evaluation. In the case of students who have not followed the subject through continuous assessment, the preparation of these works will not be done in groups, but individually.

The evaluation
systems will be the same in any of the scenarios that we may

7. VIRTUAL / CLASSROOM TEACHING SCENARIO

In a multimodal setting, the exhibition classes in large groups will be subject to the capacity of the assigned classroom and the clases in practice groups will be subject to the capacity of the sports hall (including both the space for sports practice and the stands). In this case, the rotation of the students will be applied, providing the students who do not attend class with the information, documentation and material necessary for the proper follow-up of the class in a non-face-to-face way. The visualization of theoretical or practical content and the reading and handling of complementary material will be the resources used for this non-contact monitoring.

The tutorials may be in person respecting the limitations
established by the competent authority or through email and google
meet in the event that these measures could not be
respected.

8. VIRTUAL TEACHING SCENARIO

In a non-face-to-face setting, the exhibition classes in
large groups will be taught online by videoconference and with the
contribution of material corresponding to the content worked on in
each session and topic. On the other hand, the classes in practice
groups will also be taught virtually, in this case, in addition to
the provision of documentation and material regarding the content
to be worked on in each session, it will also be possible to use
the visualization of explanatory images and videos in which these
contents are developed in a practical way.
The exhibitions and defenses of the work prepared by the
students will also be determined in a virtual way at the
established times

The tutorials in this case will be done by email and google meet.

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE (on line exams)

Purpose: In accordance with the Universities Law and other national and regional regulations in force, carrying out exams and assessment tests corresponding to the courses students are registered in. In order to avoid frauds while sitting the exam, the exam will be answered using a videoconference system, being able the academic staff of the University of Jaén to compare and contrast the image of the person who is answering the exam with the student's photographic files. Likewise, in order to provide the exam with evidential content for revisions or claims, in accordance with current regulation frameworks, the exam will be recorded and stored.

Legitimacy: compliance with legal obligations (Universities Law) and other national and regional regulations currently in force.

Addressees: service providers who are the owners of the platforms where the exams are carried out and with whom the University of Jaén has signed the corresponding data access contracts.

Storage periods: those established in current in force regulations. In the specific case of exam videoconference recordings, not before the examination records and transcripts are closed or the exam can still be reviewed or challenged.

Rights: you can exercise your right of access, amendment, cancellation, opposition, suppression, limitation and portability by sending a letter to the postal or electronic address indicated above. In the event that you consider that your rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection www.ctpdandalucia.es
