5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The nature and importance of laboratory practices make them compulsory assistance. The unjustified lack of a practice means losing 30% of the total of the final grade. And the lack half or more of these practices (3 or more) involves not pass the subject.

In order for the theoretical exam grade (which may include the topics worked in the laboratory practices) to balance with the rest of the evaluation activities, it is necessary to pass the theoretical exam. As an example, the weighting is achieved with a minimum grade of 5 out of 10. If the theoretical exam score is less than 5 the student must repeat the test in another call and the teacher will keep the notes of other activities during the current course and the next.
