THEORETICAL MODULE. Contents.

MODULE I. METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS. NURSING CARE PLAN.

Unit 1. WORKING METHODOLOGY.

The Nursing Care Process. Origin and history Features. Stages of the process.

Unit 2. NURSING TAXONOMIES.

Contribution of standardized language to the practice and development of Nursing. NANDA Taxonomy. Typology and criteria NIC - NOC. The standardized language.

Unit 3. THE VALUATION STAGE.

Patient assessment Data Collect. Type of data. Methods for obtaining data: Interview, Observation, Physical exploration, other sources.

Unit 4. DIAGNOSTIC STAGE.

Identification of the problems detected. Analysis and registration of the data collected. The Nursing Diagnosis. Components of the diagnostic category. Guidelines to state Nursing Diagnoses.

Unit 5. CARE PLANNING.

The Nursing Treatment. Definition and purpose. Priority setting. Establishment of expected objectives-results. Determination of activities-interventions. NOC and NIC classification systems.
