Theory hours are used to expose the subject contents by the
professor.
Surveying Practical are used to put knowledge to the
practical use of topographic instruments and the theory studied in
class.
It will be a continuous evaluation in the practical hours.
Those which do not pass such continuous evaluation will have to
complete a practical test to pass the course.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
During the course of the execution of field practicum hours will be continuous evaluation, keeping track of each student, noting their progress in handling instrumentation.
Although data collection is done jointly, the rest of the practice must be done individually and must be submitted to the teacher NO MORE THAN A WEEK LATER THAN THE DATE OF THE EXAM.
It will be a continuous evaluation in the practical hours. Those which which do not pass such continuous evaluation will have to complete a practical test to pass the course .
A maximum of two fouls to the practice field are allowed.
In the event that a student copy the practice of another, bothwill be suspended. The practices carried out in a course shall bevalid only for that course.
Evaluation of the cognitive part
A test which covers theory (20 multiple choice questions) and exercices (3 or 4).
Theory
The test will consist on twenty (20) multiple choicequestions.
The well answered question will be worth one point, the wrong answers subtract one-third and blank responses do not score.
Exercices
Exercices will be a direct application of the theory studied and implemented in practice. To pass the written exam is necessary that the note of each of the parts is greater than or equal to four.
The final exam will be the arithmetic mean of the two sides.
Calculator policy
To protect the integrity of its exams, the types of calculators you may bring to the exam room are limited. The only calculator models acceptable for use during the exam are as follows.
Casio: All FX-115/ FX-991 / FX- 570 models. Any Casio
calculator must contain fx-115 in its model name. Examples of
acceptable CasioFx-115/ FX-991 / FX- 570 models include (but are
not limited to): FX-115 MS / FX-991 MS / FX - 570 MS FX-115 MS Plus
/ FX-991 MS Plus / FX-570 MS Plus FX-115 MS SR / FX-991 MS SR /
FX-570 MS SR FX-115 ES / FX-991 ES Plus / FX-570 MS Plus
Hewlett Packard: The HP 33s and HP 35s models, but no
others.
Texas Instruments: All TI-30X and TI-36X models. Any Texas
Instruments calculator must contain either TI-30X orTI-36X in its
model name. Examples of acceptable TI-30X and TI-36X models include
(but are not limited to): TI-30Xa TI-30Xa SOLAR TI-30Xa SE TI-30XS
Multiview TI-30X IIB TI-30X IIS TI-36X II TI-36X SOLAR TI-36X
Pro.
Any student found using a calculator that is not on the list above will be thrown out from the classroom and your final grade will be FAIL
No partial results are saved, nor within the same course or acourse for another.
To pass the course it is necessary that the final mark of the subject must be is greater than or equal to five and that the exam and practice must be greater than four.
The final mark will be given by: NF= 0.75 N written exam + 0.15N practical work + 0.10 N Virtual Campus Activities
The final mark included in the grade report is given by:
